I’m sorry you might agree or disagree with me but the comments that I have seen from last night are getting ridiculous!
I have looked at what everyone has said and I haven’t seen one botched up job with my own eyes, if there are pictures to back up what you are saying then fair enough but everyone is just going off word of mouth! Rhinoplasty is one of the most complicated procedures to do and noses are not going to perfect 100% of the time! I think that my tip is a little podgy but I can tell that there is still swelling Dr G even told me it could take 18 months to go! Our noses are all different and we will all heal at different times. Most have only just had their casts taken off. You don’t just wake from surgery and expect your nose to be perfect straight away it doesn’t work like that. Remember the saying patience is a virtue! Trust me believe that!
Everyone needs to be made aware of the swelling and the problems/risks that come with rhinoplasty in the consultations because the amount of people panicking is shocking!!

Don’t worry my tip looked like a bulb for the first couple of months and then i would say at 5/6 months it started to refine and I started loving it. I definately saw a difference, taking lots of pics and comparing them against each other helped me see that xx

same here zoe I couldn’t see any definition until I was 6 months and now I love it xxxx

Kelly how many weeks post op are you or months? it can actually take up to 2-3 years to get a final result that you like x

I am not defending anyone I am speaking from personal experience! This is my opinion and I don’t go off somebodies word re surgery, I go off pictures to back up what people are saying. I have been on this forum for a year and not once seen or heard from any girls with botched jobs. Most of the girls on my friends list have had Dr G and they are all great results! Like I said if somebody has a picture of their botched job then fair enough!! Sorry if i have offended you

I must say as well I have only read one bad review from dr g and that’s only ever been 6 weeks post op never couple of years down the line and iv been researching him and on this forum for 3 years and over 2 years post op! but it is a shame that your going through this x

have you spoken to these people lately?

hi girls im 15 weeks PO and im one of the ones who is worrying also about my shape, I have been speaking to a few girls on here who recently had open rhinoplasty with Mr Gonschior who seem to be very scared and upset also. I think the main problem here is that there is not enough support or reassurance post op. Like with myself i went to see him at 11 weeks PO because i couldnt get an appointment with him any sooner, but i was worried 3 weeks PO and sent photos to my PC who forwarded them to him, which i never got response. So then i had upto 11 weeks of worry which is the last thing you need after going through something as big as this and in the middle of your face. I finally met with him at 11 weeks and addressed my concerns, and had my list of questions, which to be honest i didnt really get any reassurance or real answers, just that he didnt know if my tip would go pointy, although this is exactly what i was always asking him for pre op and he never once said he couldnt achieve this, also my nose tip pointed down to the right, when i asked for a slight upturn, it looks weird from the right and he just said he didnt know if it would change, and will only know at one year. I asked if the lump on my tip hadnt gone could he do something about it, and again i was told he didnt know.
All i wanted was a bit of reassurance and i think i would have gone away feeling more positive.
Rhonoplasty is a really scary procedure to go through, i feel more aftercare would be beneficial with more frequent surgeon check ups.
I myself have seen a few girls photos on here and i know the reason they will not upload photos is because if the embarrassment they are feeling.
I havent as yet uploaded photos for the same reason but i will do so today. I also encourage the other girls i been speaking to to do the same.

hey hun thanks for posting some pics and u are absolutely stunning! i loved ur pre op nose i had a distinctive pointy tip too which i insisted on preserving as i felt it was the character of my nose even just before my op i tried to drum it into him to keep my pointy tip. All i wanted was the bump off and slight de projection. like u im devasted at how much smaller my nose was made and the lack of definition in my tip. ive seen other examples and can tell the type of tips the surgeon can do none r pointy and the only decent ones are where a graft seems to be used. i dont know what has been done to your collemula hun it looks retracted to me and i hope wont cause long term structural damage…

Hi I’m having secondary rhinoplasty in less than two weeks time.
The first op I had a roman type nose, with bump and long tip,I asked for a slight curve.. I shouldn’t of, I’m 5’11 medium build and I don’t like the kinda pixi look, after two bangs to my nose I now what it straight. dr G has said he might need to take cartilage from my ear to create a more smooth finish.. Has anyone ever had this done? Plus I lost all definition in my tip that I was a bit upset about, it’s rounded now and he says it might get more rounded after this second op.. But I just want a nice nose so I’m reluctantly done again
