Dr G rhino stitches

Just wondering for alar based reduction is it dissolvable stitches they use? If so how long until they fall out? Xx

Hi Hun, I had an open and alar base and I’m having my stitches out tomorrow. I can’t wait because they are starting to itch now, will let you know if they take them all out. Do you not have an appointment booked to take your stitches out this week?

Hey how you doing? I had closed rhino with alar based reduction. The nurse told me in my pre op I won’t have stitches to take out but obv I do so not too sure! I have a post op appointment with the nurse Thursday so I guess I’ll see then xx

Yeah you’ll find out then but if your concerned just give your PC a call to double check

If you have open surgery they take the stitches out at the base but with both open and closed the stitches inside the nose are all dissolvable and will be gone after about 6 weeks x
