I know what you mean i had an uplift as well and thats why i had to quit for my own safety. My doctor told me I don’t do nicotine tests and I will operate on you either way however its up to you to accept the consequences of you not quitting. He knew how to scare me, quitting before the surgery gives your skin more elasticity for him to uplift properly, they measure the oxygen level in the blood and if its low he will not lift much (ofcourse you know when you smoke your blood oxygen level becomes really low). So if I didn’t quit before by a good 4 weeks at least he wont be able to lift my boobs properly and i would have thrown this money in the bin. You have to quit after for your healing, for the wound to close, for you not to get infections etc.. blood rushes to injured places in your body to heal them but if that blood lacks enough oxygen your tissues might die, i heard horrific stories about nipples falling. He didn’t force me to quit but he made me too scared so i had to quit, i was a heavy smoker 2 packs a day and i went cold turkey, so i am sure you can do it. Now i cant wait to go back to smoking
