Hey everyone. I’m due to see Dr Mashhadi on Saturday for a pre op appointment. Has anyone seen or had him for a breast reduction? Would love to see some pictures?
I’m actually having my op on Friday with Dr Mashhadi, I’ll keep you posted!
All home now! I can’t believe how good they look although I am very swollen and very sore. I didn’t realise how bad I would feel afterwards but I’m hoping over the next couple of days I’ll feel better. I’m very lucky to have a mom that is a nurse so she’s helping me get out of bed, do little walks and bringing me food and drink.
Dr Mashhadi said that I’m approximately a c/d but I’m very swollen so I think I may be a C which I’ll be more than happy with!
I’ve also got feeling in both nipples which apparently is a very good thing.
Awwww! That’s so good! I’m so happy for you. I hope you feel better soon.
What size was you before?
@Angeliqua Wow that’s amazing! Did you have the pico dressing
I didn’t in the end! I just have normal dressings on at the moment and then I’ll have silicone which will help with healing. I have my post op appointment Thursday so it’ll be interesting to see how I’m healing as I can’t see any of the incisions right now.
I’m not sure, the doctor said he was going to write me a prescription but it’s not too exspensive off Amazon!
Finding it quite hard to take pictures on my own. I’m currently 4 days post op.
I’ll try and get some better images when I have someone else to take them because you can’t really see what’s going on ?
From having them near my belly button I can honestly say there’s a very very big difference!
Omggg they look so good! Wow! I’m so excited for you ?? x thank you for the pictures x
Is the silicone dressing different to the pico dressing? X
So the pico dressing is like a battery operated dressing that pulls the blood to the surface to help heal quicker (not a doctor so don’t quote me ?). It’s not like an essential you need but one of the reps recommended it for me because I was worried about potentially keloid scars but I don’t have a history of it so again not essential. My mom says her patients usually have them when they have a deep wound that won’t close.
Silicone dressings can help with reducing the appearance of scars. Not really sure about them too much but they’re not too exspensive so I might give them a try with bio oil when my dressings are off.
Okay I understand. Thank you for explaining. The silicone dressings sound good
Rachel, hi there, my name is Rebecca and I’m due to see Dr Mashhadi in August to see if I want to use him for my breast reduction, looking to have the opp in January, how far long in your journey are you? Would love to hear from you if you don’t mine.
Hi Rebecca, I am now nearly two months post op. In my experience Dr Mashhadi has been amazing. He has really done a good job in giving me what I asked for and he made me feel comfortable when I saw him. The scars don’t bother me either I don’t notice them at all. I would really recommend him.
Hey Angeliqua, did you develop keloid scars in the end? What would you recommend to use to reduce these? Mine developed 5 months post op and I’m currently using silicone gel sheets but would like something stronger x
Hi Rachel,
Thank you for your reply, in seeing him tomorrow 13/08/19. Looking forward to seeing him.
