Dr Traynor Pictures Please :)

Hi 🙂

Would anyone mind posting pictures of their BA with Dr Traynor on this post? I’ve chosen him as my surgeon purely based on the fact that he has done 2 of my friends’ BA’s too, but apart from that I haven’t seen many pictures of work he has done.

He’s amazing. I had mine done 5 weeks. Will try and attach a pic now but quite often they won’t load saying the image is too big. But I am really happy with his work xx

hey @alex-louise I have Dr traynor on Tuesday, can I ask what CC you had and wether they are unders or overs? xxx

I had 350cc overs. I was a big A now a DD 🙂 xx

Thanks so much Alex they look amazing! I’m stuck between 375/400cc and 400/425cc (asymmetry apparently although I had never noticed it myself). I’m scared to go too big… I want to be a D. Yours look amazing I wouldn’t want to go bigger than that and yours are a 350cc so now that confuses me more haha.

He’s offered me overs but I really wanted unders. Are yours unders? I’m a good size B to begin with so he said there’s no point doing unders but I don’t want them to look stuck on xx

Hi Paula I’ve been offered between 300-400 from Dr Traynor and have asymmetry so tried 400/375 felt too big then 375/350 felt good but I’m Still undecided as everyone says go biggest my new train of thought is this……if I went for 400/375 then really I’m just having 375 as the 400 is just filling out my smaller boob haha when is your surgery xx

What are your stats before if you don’t mind me asking? Yeah basically if you picked 400/375 they would look more like 375 I think that’s how it works 🙂 I tried on 400/425 and I also tried 375/400… Everyone says go biggest but the 400/425 did seem big.

I didn’t even think I was asymmetrical really, if anything my left boob I thought was slightly bigger than my right but he says it’s the other way around and I’m scared they’ll end up a bit different sized.

I haven’t booked my surgery yet I’m thinking of booking it tomorrow for November. One thing that is bugging me a lot is that he says I should have overs and I was convinced I wanted unders for a natural look.

Hey paula i’m currently 34b just under 9 stone and about 5ft 6 I think haha I also thought unders for more natural but because I have a little bit of my own boob thought he may just do over. so now I have the option I’m probs gonna go under I think would love to know pros and cons of both? Xx

I’m an A and had overs. I’ve heard unders is a worse recovery process. But also mr Traynor specialises in what’s right for your frame definitely go for the biggest he will offer you. I may be a 32DD and out of clothes they feel huge but as soon as you get dressed they can feel a lot smaller xx

Hiya, I had Dr Traynor too. He’s the best. I have all my pics on my profile if you want to add and look at any. I’ll see if this one attaches but I don’t know if it will. It’s a before and after.
I was a B, size 10 and had 375s. I had the option of 350 375 or 400. Couldnt decide so I went in the middle. Wish I’d have chosen 400 cos I have boob greed haha. But I love them and Traynor is so neat. He’s my boobie God. Xxx

My op is 24th November so I’ve got between now and then to decide on overs or unders.

Well I saw this and thought it’s a no brainier to go for unders. But I mentioned all these things to Dr Traynor and he said those sorts of complications are only really a concern in people with an a cup or less so that’s why they don’t tend to do overs in people that small. But I’m a good B so he said these things are unlikely. He seems so sure I should go overs but my gut feeling is telling me no!

He mentioned the gym, I do go quite a lot and I lift weights (I’m not a hench body builder or anything haha) but he mentioned that if you have unders the muscle cconstabtky contracts when you’re working out which can eventually start to mishape them. Apart from that I see no real worry with unders, whereas overs seem to be more complicated!

My PC Natalie said that actually most people go for overs. I’m just scared they’ll look too fake. It’s so stressful this haha.

Natalie how are you feeling they look great already and going by everyone else’s they only get better? what size did you go for in the end?? ANC wwgat made you decide?? Xx

Eeeeh Paula I’m very similar I do a weights class upto 5 times a week and that has been one of my thoughts how will it be when we do chest muscles dr Traynor has told my PC he’d speak more indepth with me on surgery day. Your right it’s so stressful are you still undecided then?

My PC told me not to go on here for help on choosing sizes as everyone is so different but I want/need as much advice as possible. Xx

yes I’m all booked for Nov 17th at Preston-do you live near there? I’m a 2 hr drive so wondering whether I need to book hotel for night before and then again for the evening of 17th as I thought we had to be near to the hospital for a certain amount of time afterwards!?!?

I haven’t heard anything about having to be near the hospital afterwards but maybe double check that. Yeah I live about a 10 minute drive away so it’s quite convenient. The Marriott hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the hospital it’s around the corner so that’s an option although it’s probably quite pricey. Theres a premier inn in Preston city centre which in a taxi would be about 10/15 minutes away. If you are looking at a hotel I would recommend the Marriott as it’s closer but if the premier inn is a lot cheaper it’s not that far in a taxi 🙂 so you’re in a week before me exactly as I’m in 24th. Please keep in touch with me with how you get on and especially what you decide on with regards to overs or unders x

Sorry for the late reply, I had 375 hp overs. Being a B he said nobody would tell the difference if I had overs or unders but you get different effects from one to the other such as double bubble etc. I’m really happy with my overs. I didn’t know if I’d have enough tissue but I love mine, I’m surprised at how natural they look and feel to me.
All I can advise is to trust Traynor, he truly does know what he’s doing. I would recommend him 110%.

Maybe it’s just because I live a distance away incase I need to get back in for any reasons afterwards??? I will check though. Will def keep intouch I can’t wait everyone just looks fab but I really don’t want to look too big at all as I haven’t told anyone apart from my partner so don’t want to end up like massive and fake looking!! I will also research and please keep me updated if you find out anything new? xxx

@alex-Louise I had mine done wit traynor 450cc overs today loved the whole day and felt fab after. A actually felt more healthy after the op ?. Me traynor a great to love them here ma pics top left is befor xx

Oh and am from Newcastle and was told a had to stay within a hour of hospital on first night stayin in the Marriott tonight it’s litrally right nxt to the hotel xx

I’m going in for my op on 22nd December, quite a while off yet. Iv been offered 300 min and max 400. I went to a second appointment last weekend with my PC and have ordered both 350cc and 375cc so then I can decide on the day. I have been told they have decided on overs for me because I have enough breast tissue to but after reading quite a few comments on under and overs i’m not sure what’s best to go for to be honest.

I felt very comfortable when I went to see Mr Traynor and he made me feel very at ease, so im swaying towards taking his word for it and putting my trust in him. I have seen quite a lot of photos of a similar size and over done by Mr Traynor and they all look really good.

what are you thinking? xx

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am exactly the same. I’m thinking of choosing 375 as I was offered 350/375/400/425 although I might change to 400…. They’ve ordered both for me anyway.

I am in the same frame of mind regarding overs and unders. I’ve heard that unders are much safer with regards to capsular contracture/rippling etc but Dr Traynor basically didn’t ask where I wanted it placed.

I said “where would it be placed” and he just said overs. I had my heart set on unders but he seems sure I’ve enough tissue to hold up to a 425 so I’m thinking do I go with my gut or do I just trust his instinct… So confusing!

I’m a 34b now, what do you measure? Xx

Hiya, sorry for late reply. Glad you managed to find my pics. 🙂 I would say 400cc as there’s practically nothing between them but you’ll always get boob greed no matter what.
I didn’t think I would but I have haha. It’s not much difference but you’ll be glad you did. I wish I’d have gone with the 400s just so I know it was the biggest that I wanted haha.
Ultimately the decision lies with you. 🙂 xxx

Yeah I’ve heard the same thing too, about there being less risks with unders.

He did the same thing with me too, he didn’t even mention it until I asked and then just told me and said the same thing as he said to you. I have every faith in him though. To be fair looking at lots of people who have similar stats and have had overs done by him they look amazing!! I really don’t know though it’s just so hard to know what to do.

It’s so difficult isn’t it. My main issue is that I don’t want them to look fake, and I feel like they’d look more natural under. But who knows, everyone’s different aren’t they. It’s mad to see how one person can have the same implant size etc as someone else and they look completely different.

I have my pre op next weds and i have asked if I can have 5 minutes with Dr Traynor to discuss because I’m getting a bit worked up about it it’s such a big decision!

He also said im very slightly asymmetrical but I’m honestly not convinced that it’s noticeable enough to put different sizes in. I’ve seen some pictures of girls who look like me and have had different sizes in each and now they’ve healed they still look out of proportion with one being bigger than the other. Do I trust my gut or go with his expertise I’m not sure!

Sorry for my ramble! We’re all different and I suppose it depends on how much you start with too. I think I’m deciding on unders but whether I go 375 or 400 is another thing.

I’m exactly the same, I really don’t want them to look fake. I want them to be as natural as possible! Like you say everyone is different and on some of the photos I’ve seen the unders look more fake but then some of the overs look really fake too. I really don’t know what to do, its so hard!

Ahh yeah that’s a good idea, I might do the same when I go for mine. I want to feel happy on the day and not worried about the decision I’m making.

If I go overs, and I pick 375, I’m scared they’ll be huge. Alex who posted at the top of this post, he’s are 350 overs and they look amazing but they’re just possibly a little big for my frame, plus she started as an A and I’m a B so I’m scared if I get 375 overs starting with a B they’ll just be massive! But if you go too small you could regret it…

I’ve just booked a consultation with Transform for 4th November to get another opinion. I’m still going with MYA as I’ve paid my deposit but if I go to transform and pretend I’ve not booked somewhere else I want a second opinion. Then on the day I can see Dr Traynor and say right this is what I want end of! Haha.

I should trust his judgement and I do but with a couple of things I think I know what I want I.e the same size cups.

They can put them in and change them whilst they’re operating can’t they. So I’m sure he’ll decide when I’m under which is best.

Transform do their consultations at first trust which is where my surgery will be. I hope I don’t bump into Dr Traynor hahaha

I’m going back to see him on weds to discuss it thoroughly. I do trust him, he’s great. I’ve only seen like 2 people’s he’s done that I really don’t like. Part of me is wondering if I go for 375s when I was offered 400’s and they’re a bit small I’ll be disappointed. You just don’t know. I don’t want stretch marks either. Hi Paula, I had the same stress in picking size which pretty much took over my life until I made a decision after seeing the surgeon again. My advise would be do what you would regret the least. Have a think if you would be more upset if they were too small or too big and go from there. In terms of overs and unders again I’d be thinking will I be more mad if I go against what the surgeon has recommended or against my gut if you’re not 100% happy with the final result. At the end of the day they are going to be an improvement no matter what you pick if you’re not happy with them at the minute, but I’d have a good think then just make a decision and stick to it otherwise it will drive you crazy until your opp. But that’s just my 2 pence worth ? xx

Jay this made a lot of sense thank you. I’m in for my pre op on Wednesday and I’ve asked to see the surgeon again at the same time. I’ve had a very long think and lots of research and I think if the surgeon is happier for me to have overs then I’ll stick to his decision. I would rather not tear through the muscle unless it’s necessary which I understand for some people it is.

With regards to size I think I’d be more unhappy if they we’re too small. And I know there isn’t much between 375 and 400 but I’m still a bit undecided on that.

Went back to try sizes today I tried the actual implants in the sports bra rather than the sizers-felt different again, think I’m going for the biggest I was offered 400/375 still not sure under or overs I will chat with dr Traynor on the day. Hey girls!! I’m booked in on the 18th November in preston with mr traynor, very excited!! I’m getting overs but can’t decide what size!! He’s recommended 380 or 410… I’m a 34b now and a size 8/10. Don’t want to look fake or too big!! Has anyone had similar done? Xxx

Hi Kirsty 🙂 I’m having mine done on 24th November with him but he only offered me in 50’s? So for example he offered me between 350/375/400/425/450. I’m stuck between 375 and 400 I know there’s not a lot in it but I don’t want mine looking fake either! Glad someone else is having overs, I see a lot of girls with partials/unders on here x

Yeah I had my heart set on the 380cc but with everyone saying go for the bigger ones I’m unsure. It’s so hard making a decision! I think I will just wait until the day and see what’s what xx

I have my pre op tonight and I’m seeing Dr Traynor again so I’m going to ask my remaining questions and then with regards to size I’m just going to say he can decide haha! Good luck Hun xx
