Im due to have my BA a week today. I read in another forum post about drains however Dr Traynor said he doesnt use these!
Has anyone else been told this because I really do not want them, they sound soo painful!
I had my BA almost 4 weeks ago & i had drains – The thought of having them initially freaked me out but im glad i had them after seeing what came out – Where would it all go without them?? They didnt hurt one bit, infact when i woke from the anesthetic i’d forgot all about them & didnt realise they were there until the nurse mentioned removing them!
As far as i’ve noticed some surgeons use them some don’t….their preference i guess!
