Has anyone had drains in after surgery ? My paperwork says I may need them and I understand what they do however the thought freaks me out slightly and are they difficult to hide under clothing ?
I had drains in, didn’t even think about it beforehand even to ask but ended up with them, it was uncomfortable and I was glad to get them out but glad I had them too to get rid of all the extra fluid, I had bruising at one side which I would imagine would’ve been much worse had I not had them. I clipped them up into my clothing but difficult enough to hide but if only for a few days who cares. I know I didn’t the first day or 2 after anasthetic!
