Hey Hun they stay in until your ready to leave then they pull them out and depending on what your surgeon has done is to weather they put anything on them or use the bandaging from your surgery to cover them nothing to worry about though Hun honestly 🙂 xx

I was worried about this but seriously you can’t even feel them when they’re in or when they take them out, don’t worry 🙂 xx

Hi Anna, I was told they had to be in for 6 hours after surgery – I was desperate to go home after the first few hours and they were the only reason I had to stay! They just gently pull them out, I was really worried about having them taken out but the first I didn’t feel and the other took less than a second so don’t worry at all x

Thankyou for all the advice, staying in a hotel and didnt like the idea of going away with them still in, to be honest I’m more scared of the anasthetic and being put to sleep, worried i’ll have an anxiety attack or something. Reasuring that so many of you girls have done it and come out the other side.xxx

Hey Anna I completely understand how your feeling and I also think because you entering the unknown your brain starts picking on you a bit and making you stress and worry and in turn focus on negative things try your best not to give in to that take a look at some of the pictures of the after ops and think happy things there is no reason why you won’t have a lovely experience so try to relax and enjoy Hun 🙂 we are all here every step of the way and after your op you will think to yourself why did I stress so much?!!!! xx

Hey Hun ok drains are put in the side of your chest to drain excess blood and air so that it doesn’t feel up your lungs nothing for you to worry about 🙂 xx
