Drains

Any one had drains my surgeon not mya want me to stay over night and have drains in xx

Yes I had drains @rayray77 and I stayed in over night and I wasn’t with mya 🙂 xx

I’m more scared of the drains than the op only 12 days to go and I’ve got a cough from hell .i wish it would do one soon x

The drains are literally nothing to worry about. I had drains with mya and had to stay minimum 4 hours with them in. Honestly I was so out of it I didn’t even notice or care about them and I can be quite squeamish. If anything I’m glad I did have them as I didn’t get any of those weird squishy fluid sounds people get where the excess fluid is dispersing through your body. Honestly don’t be nervous about them you really will be totally fine with them!

There not that bad at all I had them I was really worried about these but the don’t hurt just a weird feeling when they take them out xx

I had my drains removed yesterday and it absolutely killed me! My drain got stuck too the plasters so the nurse had to fiddle around and that caused a lot of discomfort! It’s like a burning pulling sensation when it comes out! But they do the job and are the safer option x

I had drains on Monday and you really don’t notice you have them in, I didn’t have to stay over night but mine did fill up quite a bit over 75ml each side , I’m glad I had them because if I didn’t all that fluid that needs to come out would just be stuck inside me so I definitely feel like it’s the safest option . It’s a bit of a strange uncomfortable feeling when they take them out but it’s forgotten as soon as it’s done xx

I had drains with mya at preston but didnt have to sty overnight, tking them out is very quick i even recorded it so i could see… strange i know!
