So I took the last of my dressings off today and I want to put them back on 🙁 I don’t like what I see. They look like two different breasts! The right is bigger and I’m happy with how it sits and the size of the nipple but the left looks considerably smaller and I just hate the shape of the nipple it isn’t round it’s the same shape of an eye. Can u take a look at my pics and see if its likely to change? I’m 10 days post op x
Oh no chick, remember you are still very early days you under went major surgery everything is still tight, swollen and unsettled.
My right is bigger than my left at the minute as my right has stopped to drop and my left hasn’t! Did you have two different size implants; remember they take time to settle and soften?
Try not too worry too much hun my nipples look very mis-shaped at the minute its the tension from the stitches as they heal and settle they’ll become a more circular shape, I felt like this too initially and spoke to my surgeon and was reassured!
Your pictures are very similar to mine hun, im 9 days post op and had identical surgery to yourself! Hang on in their chick! xx
just updated my pics and seeing them on the computer screen has just made me even more upset. I spent all that money to help my confidence when naked but if things don’t change I can see myself covering up and being as insecure as before 🙁 x
Remember hun pictures highlight things 1000X more and make things look worse!
I can promise you your boobies still have lots of changing to do, lots of softening, dropping, settling and relaxing to do, try not to feel too disheartened at this stage hun!xxx
Ive just took a look at your photos hun, they look absolutely fab! The shape is100% normal and will settle. I found mine improved and settled more after my first shower and a few days of being out in the air to heal! Honestly they will look fab in a few weeks, the stitching is very thin and neat, and identical to mine they are not perfect around the outside because of the tension of the stitches, ive been rest assured they will settle honestly hun take a look at my photos are nipples are very similar, try not to worry like I said lots of changing and settling to do yet babe! xxxx
i just had a look hun.. try not to worry.. honestly one is still sitting higher than the other.. they will change a lot over the coming weeks give them time to settle.. i think they are looking great xx
Looks to me like they are not settled, you have so much more healing time yet hun. Mine will look awful when strapping comes off tomorrow but they have to relax and mould in their own time. My friends didn’t properly settle until a yr after. Pls don’t be upset, they look fab so far. X
Thanks girls, just having a bad day today. Feeling really emotional. My bf hasn’t shown me much support at all. Didn’t want me to get it done in the first place, didn’t come to the hospital with me, didn’t get me a card or anything. I asked him the other day if he is glad I went throught with it (expected him to yes as I thought they looked so much better) but he said ‘I dunno’. I was gutted and cried all night, my new confidence was gone in a flash so I guess im just be picky atm xx
It’ll be back in a heart beat when they start to settle babe honestly. Ive had lots of reassurance in the last few days, have faith. Men are useless, this was something you dod for yourself keep ypur chin up and remember there is lots of changing to do yet! xxx
If it helps Hun my bf hasn’t been very supportive either, he won’t be coming to the hospital – & I will be amazed if I get a card. I bet they think we will go off if we look better & have more confidence. I’m sure you look fab! & in time they will look even better. I’m having an uplift with implants on the 27th – I’m super nervous!! X
Hi hun. You have to remember why you went through with it in the first place and that was for YOU. I am very disappointed with your boyfriend that he wasn’t supportive towards you. Of course he is entitled to an opinion but once you’d made your decision, he should really be there for you.
But either way, I think you should relax and listen to these girls and they have been through it and know what they’re talking about. I will be on this forum all the time in the days before and after, looking for advice! It’s natural be be worried and have feelings of regret/anxiety – just give it time. I’m confident all will be well. Keep us updated! Caz xx
Wise words Caz! This forum is fab wfor advice/tips/support/knowledge all the ladies on here really are fab! xxx
Thanks for the support girls . Will keep you updated, maybe one day soon i’ll wake up and they will look more similar! I’m not expecting symmetry but not such an obvious difference! x
I did not ask my husband about his opinion. I guess at the beginning ha didn’t really understood why I was doing it, he just said do whatever you like. He came to pick me up at the hospital and drove me to my 1 week post op apt with the nurse and I forced him to come in the room and only at the point he liked what he saw. He’s said they are perfect size. Remember you do it for you not others! Even my family does not know I had surgery and have no intention to tell them unless they notice a change. Don’t worry too much about the difference between your 2 boobs, my left one dropped very quickly and my right is still not completely at the same level but catching up and I will be 6 weeks post op this friday so be patient.
Hey ladies, do you mind if I add you all… Having uplift and implants looking to book op in October xx
Oh my god they look amazing! I had 615cc’s about 7 weeks ago- I really should have had the uplift too but was too scared of the scars but yours look brilliant.
On another note- Sorry to hear your boyfriend is not being supportive, I remember being an emotional wreck for the first few weeks and everything my bf said seemed insensitive and like he just didnt care but when I look back on it he never really said anything that bad. Everything just seemed so much worse at the time!
Hope you’re feeling better- honestly they look great and you should be really pleased with them xx
