Dressing removal and shower confusion.

Hi girls,

I had my strapping removed and clean dressings on my incisions on Friday and was told I could remove them and have a shower after 5 days.
Does this mean I can remove them today or do I need to wait until tomorrow (Wednesday)?
I really want to have a shower as it’s causing me pain to wash my hair over the bath (and hurting my mums back as I can’t do it myself).
Would appreciate any advice!

Think it means you can shower straight away but to wait 5 days to remove the dressings x

You can’t get the dressings wet so I won’t be able to shower until I remove them. I’m just going to wait until tomorrow now I think, don’t want to risk it! Xx
