Drinking

So next Saturday I will be 12 days po are we allowed to drink then?

Double check with your nurse but I think it’s once you’ve finished your antibiotics xx

They say 14 days but I had a drink with my meal at
12 days.

I had a drink at 3 days post op and lived to tell the tale lol.

Im a naughty one and went out on the saturday after my op on the weds and got smashed haha! Just keep away from people dont get so drunk you knock into them and dont take your antibiotics that day. NOT ADVICE YOU SHOULD TAKE – but im still here haha xx

I wouldn’t worry too much, it’s not recommended but alcohol just changes the way that the antibiotics get absorbed, ie takes longer for them to work, but only if you get really drunk! (used to work in boots and get asked this all the time!)
