Driving

Helloo, had my op on the 9th, fed up already! Does anyone know when I feel ok to drive and get around etc? X

I was told no driving for 2 weeks and to be honest don’t think I could have managed it earlier as it still pulls when I drive now and I’m 3weeks post op.

Hi hope you don’t mind the add! I had my op on the 9th too… No driving for 2 weeks I’m afraid!! I’m going crazy so just been going out for walks!!

Yeah a week as with my first ba I was back doing hair dressing second week but taking it easy and driving.

I got told 2 weeks and to be honest my partner drove us everywhere and I felt EVERY bump in the road over those two weeks, kept my V pillow very close to my chest. I’m now 3 weeks PO and am driving again and it’s fine.

I drove short distance on day 8, and motorway on day 10 but struggled with the 5th gear for a little while. xx

I was told a week as most people go back to work after aweek.x
