DRIVING?

It’s only been 3 days and I’m going out of my mind with boredom lol.

Pre op I was never stuck at home always at gym; work etc… but all I do now eat sleep and bore myself haa. When did you girls start driving again? Even just fancy a little drive

I didn’t drive for two weeks, couldn’t get my car in reverse haha xo

I’m 3 weeks post op and can only do short distances… Not really had any other issues…x

I’m gonna start driving at 13 days post op as I have friends visiting me and have no choice lol! I have an auto though so should be fine x

They advise 2 weeks any earlier and it causes problems it would be self inflicted. At my 2 week post op check my nurse said that I could drive but any pain to stop and take it easy.

Lol I drove three days post op… Fifth gear was a bitch and the seat belt was a bit uncomfortable but other than that, fine! I think you have to be careful on the cocodamol as it can cause drowsiness but it all depends on how you react to it 🙂 I was like you! Sitting doing nothing drives me mad! I’m sure a little drive won’t hurt 🙂

I’ve not touched pain killers since op dsy and the day after xx
