Driving post op

Hi girls, to anyone post op- how long did you leave it before driving? I know they recommend no sooner than 2 weeks but has anyone done so before? I really need to drive to work but obvs don’t want to risk it if everyone advises against it. I had unders so recovery time is slightly longer than overs. Any advice?? xx

I didn’t know they recommend 2 weeks! The nurse at the hospital told me 1 week of no driving. I was in a situation today where I had to drive and I’m 5 days post op. It was fine, I just took it slowly. But be careful because if your driving before your doctor recommends and something was to happen your insurance may not cover it xx

I drove a week after my opp, I was fine but it did ache putting in reverse
I’m now two weeks post opp and I’m absolutely fine xx
