During your week post op

Hey girls, I want a bit of info on how you all were during your first week post op. Did you go home when you were allowed to after op? Did you have a long drive? Was it horrible? I have a 4 hour drive afterwards, mums the designated driver, I’m gonna connect my phone to the car and play my music lol.
I’m going to Rome 1 week post op, nurse said this will be fine as long as I come in as early as I can either day before or same day, to be checked and looked at etc etc.
How were you feeling during first week post op?? xxxxxxxxx

Hey Hun I was fine no pain at all for the first 4 days then came all the nerve repairing pain plus discomfort with the strapping during day 5 (worse day) and 6 … Day 6 I got my strapping taken off and was such a relief .. Day 7 I was driving again and went back to work and each day since has been better however I do get the odd pain with certain movements …. I’m now day 10 and I haven’t had that much discomfort I can near enough lift and move my arms completely.. still a little stiff on my right side … On my way home I was fine then again I had no bad reaction to the anaestic or nothing so I felt pretty normal just felt like I had an elephant sat on my chest loool I did get pretty stiff however after being 2 hours stuck in traffic but I just pulled the chair back and had a pillow with me which made it pretty comfy ..
