Eating before ba

Yay I got my admission time for Tuesday, 7.30 am, my letter says that I can’t eat from 2am, should I set my alarm for just before then to eat something? or would you just eat your evening meal as usual?

Is it Tuesday 22nd at highgate? That’s same day as me 🙂 x not sure about the food! Xxx

I’m pretty sure you’re not meant to eat up to 6 hours before your op xx

Your not meant to eat 6 hours before your admission time and can drink clear fluids up to 2 hrs before. My admission time was 12.00 but i didn’t go down until about 3.30pm.
Have your evening meal and maybe a light supper before bed and then set your alarm so yu can have a hot drink? To be honest you’ll be that excited food will not be your priority 🙂

I was really thirsty when I came round but not hungry.
