Eating before Op

My surgery is tomorrow admission time is 9am… Does anyone know how long before my operation i need stop eating and drinking? thanks x

I was told to stop food 6 hours before and water 2 hours before- that’s what it said on the email I got with confirmation of admission time xx

Food is 6hrs and you can drink water up till 2hrs before x

It’s 6 hours before your admission time , something high cabrohydrates too, and drink only clear fluid water xx
