Eeeeek just paid deposit- now seems very real and a little scary!

Hi all,

So after many years of contemplating getting it done I’ve finally gone ahead and paid my deposit. Just waiting to speak to my PC to book in my date but looking for a date asap.

However now I’ve made that step I’ve having slight palpitations of nervousness! What if I dont like them after wanting them for so long????? !

Is it normal to feel anxious??

I paid my deposit and secured the date then when it came to paying the rest I felt sick at the thought. I kept thinking of all the things I could buy instead, take my children on holiday etc. I’ve wanted this for years and when it came to it I got mega cold feet! I think everyone feels this way, its such a big thing to do but I think it will be worth every penny xx

Have such mixed feeling like you say. Its a lot of money that I could spend on the kids, I never spend that much money on myself! Plus there is a fear of them being hard/looking wrong! Think its just the jitters as am sure I’ll love them once done

I was the same and am now 4 days away from my op at the Fitzroy in London.
It’s a big decision but everyone I know who has had them, and my patient coordinator have assured me it’s the best decision. They’ll be hard and swollen for a while but the results after that are amazing and worth it. X
