Epic Bruising!

Hey ladies. This is in no way to scare anyone, but very little is mentioned on here about be potential for bruising. This is me post op day 5. I am black and blue And although it’s normal I’ve been told, it was still a shock as not a lot of people seem to bruise like I did. So if your faint hearted don’t look, but hope it reassure or prepare someone else as it came as a shock to me.

Can’t see a pic Hun but I didn’t have a single bruise which shocked me as I’ve seen people post op who have bruises. I must just have been lucky xx

Hi Hun I think every one bruises some more than other I was lucky I didn’t bruise much only down middle of my boobs but I did however take arnica tablets 2 weeks befor hand and 2 weeks afterwards it meant to stop you bruiseing so bad and help bruises heal it worked for me so just an Idea for you ladies that are awaiting sugury xxxx

Hi jamie. I’m day 10 PO and i have major bruise along the middle between my new boobs i think it’s normal I mean the fact I woke up not being flat chested anymore makes everything ok for me haha dont worry about it it will go with time x

I have seen some photos of bruising but not as many as I thought! I thought it was very common to bruise and I was convinced I would bruise but I haven’t at all! I was shocked!!

I think it makes sense that someone would bruise I mean it’s major surgery. Maybe the drains help prevent bruising! I had drains which took out a lot of the excess liquid and blood, maybe that means there’s no blood on the surface to cause bruising?? I don’t know.

Hiya, I had TONS of bruising everywhere including both hips! To the extent I had to have a second check up wit the nurse to make sure it was improving. I’ll send you a pic to reassure you if that helps? It’s almost gone now after 3 weeks but was pretty horrific to look at afterwards. I didn’t have drains which explains the hips, and bruise easily anyway. Arnica didn’t help either! X

I bruise easily and read it can be due to lack of vitamin K.x
