Excited – how long for surgery?

I’m ancient (ok 41).

I’m having my first consultation on Saturday. How soon can I go from there to surgery?

Oh also anyone have any voucher codes or anything to reduce the price, every little helps 🙂

As soon as they have a slot, normally about a month! If you are paying upfront cash you should be able to haggle a price, their are a lot of places offering the same surgery so use that to your advantage, I’m not saying use another company as these are really good just saying get the price down nothing is set in stone 🙂

I had surgery 18 days after my first consultation, having it quick can get you money off (I didn’t though. Very unhappy about it!), so you can have it quick and deffo get discount xx

Is the first appointment the time to haggle over the price if so, then cool I need to go in wearing haggling head 🙂

If its ur first appointment that will be with the pc not the surgeon, you will then have to make an appointment with the surgeon you can’t really haggle until you have seen him, because the pc can only give you an idea until the surgeon puts in your notes exactly what size, n how long you will need to be in hosp etc. when you see the surgeon you will see the pc straight after again and that’s the time to discus money, she may even try to get u to book a date b4 you see him, remember you have 7 days cooling off so you can book your date at first apt but do tell her if its not a good deal its a no go! Font let th know you are def going to go with them or they will not budge!
The longer I kept saying I’m still thinking the more the price came down, I even got a text one day saying if you don’t book by Friday you don’t get the price, I just replied saying if you want my custom I will get that price next week if not a better one! That she was good at her job and did she want to come n work for me lol

Honestly I really want surgery in two weeks time… Cannot get any time off work in December or early January.

It’s the next two weeks or February… I think I might have left it a bit late 🙁

You never know, if ur flexible which surgeon and which hospital you have more of a chance, in that case I would lay your cards on the table, tell her you want a good deal of dates permit or you will go BMI as they have the dates aswell 🙂
