    Hi girls, i am 3 week post op Friday.. I am going insane no doing any exercise! when do you think ill be able to jog and do yoga??

    I would hope to do some lower body exercises but not running I think….yoga possibly. Thats the hardest part for me…..not exercising 🙁 xxx

    Jogging definitely not until you’ve had your 6 week check and they’ve said you’re ok to. It’s way too high impact on your new boobies! I personally haven’t done anything the whole 5 weeks so far. I do walk a lot tho so that’s something. Im waiting until next week when I have my check, then I’ll be straight down the gym!! Lol! Xx

    HI,

    i had my 1 week post op with my nurse on Monday and she said I am ok to go to the gym now and do lower leg work but nothing high impact. IE running on the treadmill not allowed until 6 weeks but walking, cross trainer (but NOT using the arms), squats, leg raises etc all fine.

    Basically you can do anything that doesn’t involve your chest muscles and arms and doesn’t involve high impact. When you get to 6 weeks you can go back to normal.
