Kristy – I would recommend starting lightly (slowly) running until at least 6 wpo. When you run your boobs jiggle and if it’s not healed properly it can move into wrong position. Couple more weeks won’t make a difference in a long term 🙂
I am 6.5w po, have seen the nurse yesterday and got signed off for light exercise. I do yoga/pilates. Went to the first class today after my surgery. There is a lot of upper body work in yoga, so had to take it easier today.. It was not painful, just felt weird at times. Nurse suggested not going too hard at first or I would be too sore
However, everyone is different and you definitely should listen to your body 🙂
