Extra costs

How many people have actually had to pay for these further investigations (blood tests etc) when booking with mya? What sort of things do they request the extra tests for? X

I had to get a blood test to check if I had a blood condition which would affect me being able to have surgery or not. It cost about £28 but was necessary as my medical records did not state if I had it or not.

I believe that if u have a history of breast cancer or heart issues additional tests or medical records that are upto date need to be submitted.

Your Pc/nurse will make u aware of all this by the time ur medical checkup with the nurse happens because that’s when the tests are taken. I had my test four weeks prior to my op so if there were any issues (MRSA, I was concerned about as I work with children and teens) I would have time to sort it out

Thanks for the replies ladies ???? I’m hoping that’s the case for me then …. I read a post earlier which made me have a little wobble about going with mya with regards to them charging hidden extras.

I see Mr Netri for the first time on Thursday next week so will double check ……. can’t wait to get a surgery date booked now 🙂 xx
