Hello, I’m 3 days post op and am still extremely swollen, but not just on my boobies, it’s all over my stomach and ribs/sides and feels very bruised and painful. Did anyone else have this? Seems to be getting worse each day and becoming more swollen and bruised.

Also, the codryamol was making me very sick so I stopped taking it day 2 and replaced with paracetamol but doesn’t seem to be working so I’m struggling a bit 🙁 I have quite a high pain threshold usually but just so sore and uncomfortable, it’s so tight to take a deep breathe in, any advice or experiences woud be great. I had unders on Saturday and just wondering when I might feel less pain and can move around a bit more – I really want to go outside on a walk but don’t think I will manage it.

    Thanks so much Ladies,
    X

I was just about to do a thread about this too I had unders on Sunday and my right boob has swollen more than the left and is a lot more painful but ive had a nipple lift on that one so maybe it’s because ive had more work they are just stinging and I’m not swollen anywhere else but I feel bruised all over my stomach and sides ive been taking all my medicine but still feel in pain wonder if they can prescribe anything else, I was going to give it today as only been a few days ans see how I get on before I ring as I know theres going to be pain after what we’ve just been through and I’m normally good with pain too bit I’re a different sort of experience. I would definitely ring and see if you maybe can get some different pain killers or they can do something for you no point in sitting in pain if they can help good luck xxx

This is just my opinion, I am by no means a doctor, but, I did not like co-dydromol so i took ibuprofen and paracetamol and used ice packs for the swelling and pain? And my op was last Tuesday? Hope this helps? 🙂 x x

Hi, I had my BA on fri, I’m not in any real pain but I defiantly feel bloated over the lower part if my body. My stomach looks massive 🙁 I’m cutting down on the pain relief as I’m hoping this will help (been constipated due to the codydramol). But I wasn’t expecting to feel so bloated! Is this normal?

Jenny you need to go to the chemist and get senna or something stronger, the bloating is due to both the pills and the GA wearing off, hope this helps 🙂 x
