Eye lash extensions and driving

Hey girls,
I have my op two weeks tomorrow I’m so excited I never thought this day would actually happen for me ?? anyway I was wondering what you were told about eye lash extensions on the day if they don’t have any make up on them? Also what where you advised on driving and how long did you all wait before you did? Xx

Ahh soon coming round bub! Your not aloud lash extensions on the day as far as I’m aware, I waited two weeks to drive and even then 5th and reverse were really hard ?, but back to normal now; hope your well xx

I was told I can’t have my lash extensions on, or nails!! Heart breaking haha.. They tape your eyes down, and they have to be able to see you nail beds … Also driving no ones mentioned to me weirdly!! I’m just getting not to do it if it causes pain or you can’t move freely enough to drive safely xxx

I drove 5 days post op I drove 1 hour + to the clinic for post op today but I struggle with 5th and reverse xx

@abisarah-xo not just me then that struggles with reverse and 5th my nurse looked at me like I was strange haha x

Most insurances wouldn’t cover you for the time that you’ve been advised not to drive so best to ask at your next app but when it comes to using your arms you should t drive the first week for sure I waited a day before two weeks when I was sure I was ok, good luck with your op xx

I know Abi it’s come so so quickly!! You can’t be far off your 6 weeks? Are you still loving them?

I didn’t know they tape your eyes down omg haha but yes so gutting about the eyelashes ??
I don’t think I can go two weeks without driving! But it’s seeming everyone is different so will just have to see what I’m feeling up to!

You’ll need to check with your insurance first about rules after the GA, and then when you’re capable of driving yourself – I was recommended a week but really struggled with 5th and 6th, and sharp corners xx
