Eyelashes

I have semi-permanent eyelashes on that last 4 weeks so will be still on for my surgery in a few days time, is this going to be a problem? Should I go have them removed before hand? Has anyone had surgery with them on?

I don’t see why there would a be a need for you to have them removed… but maybe best to double check!

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere no false nails, eyelashes or tan but not 100% sure sorry! I was thinking the same about my nails as I’ve had gel toenails and don’t wanna be in the hospital trying to get it off I’d rather know now if it’s got to be removed! X

I was told we’re not aloud to wear them. I would remove just to be on the safe side x

They might use tape to keep your eyes closed, you don’t want them removing the tape and having a chunk of lashes missing !! xx

I”m in the same situation! I got told by my nurse no nails, eyelashes or make up. I didn’t understand why the eyelashes would be a problem until just now reading the comment above.

Think I’m just going to get mine taken off and put back on after… Annoying but wouldn’t want to be pulling them off on the day! Haha x

Did you tell them you had them on? I’m hoping they don’t realise I have em on as there natural looking anyway x

Hi I am having my op next Thursday and have individual semi perm lashes on and was wondering if anyone has kept them on mine look natural looking too x

Thanks Toula I have just left a message for the nurse my lady has gone on holiday and I am not chancing pulling them off my self I can maybe get something sorted this weekend if they come back and say 100% i have to have them off x

I kept mine on and no one said anything
