Fake Profiles

Hey Ladies,

Just want to make sure everyone is careful when accepting friend requests. I’ve had 5 or 6 requests recently from ‘girls’ who have no activity on their profile but are adding loads of people. I know some of these will be genuine but be careful if you have photos up xxx

I’ve noticed this too there is one girl who added me last week I checked her activity she had not put one post just been adding everybody! Xx

This is one reason why I havent put pics on and if I do I think ill be putting them up covered up. Xx

I actually thought about this thus morning because I have had a few!! Xxx

same here girls and ive seen quite a few girls accepting these profiles without a second look as these recent profiles say nothing on the forum so I dont accept! and I dont care whos offended in the meantime, you can see whos genuinely having a ba and whos just hovering around lol. delete them girls!! xxx

We are currently working on a new verification process for more transparency regarding real patients. Feel free to inbox the MYA moderator all fake profiles we will delete any which we find are not real patients.

I know, its bad but I honestly dont accept anyone unless they either message me or I can see they are active on the forum… xxx

@myamoderator just a thought….I think you should be given a membership number when you go for your initial consultation which you use when activating your profile… at least that way the pc has at least seen you are a real person and then even if you go with another company for your operation you can still use the forum x

But what about people who are researching, like me? I am booked in for my first consultation on Wednesday but I joined before I had booked. But maybe a better idea would be to make it so you’re not able to see anyone’s pictures until you’ve made 10 posts or something like that. Weeds out the creeps and the robots.

Yes agreed, I don’t want people to miss out but if they’re not active then its a concern and MYA need to monitor those people because we are all vunrable when we put our pictures up. x

all mya need to do is a verification process like I previously mentioned when I started a topic about this just a few weeks ago, basically when girls sign up they should have to send a picture of theyre face while holding up theyre “member name” ect with mya written on a piece of paper….very simple, this method is used on dating sites ect to make sure people are who they say they are. if this method is put in place then anyone who cant take that picture with a piece of paper with your forum name on cannot be a real girl. simple. xx

I was abit shocked when my PC said anyone could join, It’s helped me so much this forum! A lot of the time you don’t need to post because someone has already asked the same questions. Someone sent me a message last night who has been a member for over a year yet hasn’t had or booked surgery and no activity , how do I report? Xx

Just send a privat message to the Mya mod and she will check it out and if it doesn’t look ligit she will remove it x
