Fake tan

So strange… About 2 weeks ago my account randomly got deleted so I’ve had to make a new one… I have no idea what happened!

Anyway, just wondering when I should stop using fake tan before my surgery? Also, what is the reason for not being able to have any tan on?

Same! Looking ill for weeks on end is not doing it for me I know I won’t want to leave the house! I’m literally like Casper xx

I’m sure you’ll still look lovely. But I actually seriously look ill when I’m pale 🙁 I wonder if I will be ok to tan all my body but leave the boobs pale! X

Same as me!!!!! She said ohh you’ll be able to tan your legs! Lol that’s not worrying me! My chest face and arms worry me most lol xx

I got told I can tan everywhere but not around my chest area for 6 weeks xx

Hi Katie,

The reason you cant have a tan before your op is so that if there are any complications they can see a slight colour change in your skin, before op or on the op table. If you have tan on your face or body beforehand they may refuse to operate cause they cant tell if you suddenly go pale or slightly blue. I am also dreading no tan but its worth it!

Thanks for your replies girls.. After the op I will be tanning every where except chest area then. I definitely can’t stand being pale!
That totally makes sense AnnaMay, Nurse said not to tan a week before op, so I definitely won’t xx
