Fake tan

Hi girls! I am 10 days post op and have a meal tomorrow with my work colleagues to celebrate my promotion. I normally use the sun beds religiously, however I was advised by the nurse not to for 6 months. Therefore I have invested in fake tan and am planning on using that instead. I’m just confused as to whether I cover my scars with plasters or. Not? My nurse stressed not to get anything on my scars and I’m scared it Will, or will run off into the scars in the shower. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks Xx

Just go around your scars, if you’re worried maybe put plasters on in the shower? As long as your scars are scabbed up it shouldn’t be too much of a problem I wouldn’t think. Xx
