Fake tan before surgery

Hi guys, I’ve been told I can’t wear fake tan 2 weeks before my op, can anyone tell me why 2 weeks and also can I wear wash off? And has anybody else had this? 2 weeks when you’re whiter than snow is painful. Any advise would be hugely appreciated.

I’m in the same situation, it’s been a week free of fake tan so far and people keep asking me if I’m ill?

Dont quote me as im not 100% sure but i think it is to do with infection as it stains the skin even was of and the tan cam cause infection ! I would call your PC and ask like can u tan neck upwards and hip down n arm u know whag i mean only the places on show avoiding the boob area then wear cloths to suit how you have tanned if its causing problems to not be able to tan haha if not tho it will be worth 2 weeks of being white for amazing boobs ? Thanks girls, ill speak to PC about it but the nurse in pre op said nothing for 2 weeks and im on 2 weeks today and caked in it, eak! Also do you know about alcohol is that 48 hours before? xxx

I think its so they can see your skin colour throughout the op to monitor you. Thats why you cant wear make up and cant wear acrylics and nail varnish i think xx
