faketan

Just wondering if anyone knows when it would be ok to start wearing faketan again after having the surgery I’m 8 days post op due to have my dressings off on Saturday and the pale life is not for me!xx ???

I feel your pain but I go on sunbeds and I know it’s going to be a while before I can do that. I think you should be fine with the fake tan as long as you don’t get it on your wounds. You might just have to have some white patches! x

There’s a good reason why they don’t advise fake tanning after the op. Even when you shower, all dirty water runs down into the incisions. It can cause infections etc plus if you can’t shower properly yet, you may end up with patches.
I feel your pain hun as I’m a sunbed lover, but I do understand I need to wait a bit longer for it. The good thing is that it’s winter and we can cover not tanned body xx

Yes that’s true girls going to have to wait a few more weeks I think as hard as it is ???xx

Does anyone know how long you have to wait before going back on the sunbeds? x

My consultant told me it should be about a year before going for a sunbed Tor as it could cause the scars to go purple! Xx
