Im getting really frustrated with other peoples comments! I wasn’t planning for the whole of my workplace to know I am having this done, but its like a game of chinese whispers in the office I work at! Now all I am getting is “why on earth are you doing that, there is nothing wrong with you, you’re fine the way you are” bla bla bla… and it’s really getting on my nerves! Anybody else had this and its made them doubt their decision? xxx

I knew that it would be blatantly obvious so i made it public knowledge early on that I was getting it done and just owned it. My money / my body. Dont give a shit if someone dissaproves but all ive had is support

Yes, had to tell my boss,

who’s a twat and proceeded to tell the other 6 male employees I work with who all gave me their opinions on “not needing it and why are you doing that” to “can I have a feel” they can all piss off. I’m doing it for me and don’t give a crap what any of them think.

I don’t know why people think they need to give their opinions when not invited.

Back arched, boobs forward and one finger salute to them all. Ha ha ha

People are going to judge others on so many different situations that’s just how people are… I’ve wanted my boobs done for so long now but my ex husband always said if I went through with it he would leave me!! My partner I’m with now has been really supportive, he couldn’t care less if I do or don’t! I haven’t told many people only those who I am very close to abd they’ve been very supportive but one! There’s always one lol… people go to the gym and diet to get the body’s they want so why can’t we pay to have the body we want!??? Don’t like people bring you done! Pretty sure many people will just be jealous of how good you will look after 😉 don’t cancel don’t give up doing what you want! You do what makes you happy… all the best xx

@cliona – he isn’t allowed to do that. You can massively do him in for that if you complain to HR

Yeah im with you on that one! I havnt told that many people but some of the people i have told i have been shocked at their reaction asking why and saying its a waste of money etc etc. Put me off telling others, but i just think its my body im unhappy at the moment and if i can make myaelf better then why not

Cliona i would complain that is harrassment asking to have a feel and aso your boss should have kept confidential information t himself, not his place to tell others! X

I’ve got my first consultation tomorrow and have only told 2 people, my husband and my friend. I’m 43 and have hated my 34a boobs for as long as I can remember. I have such a low self esteem and don’t plan on telling anyone until after I’ve had the surgery. That way I don’t have to worry about any negative comments. I’ve wanted this for over 20 years and I just can’t wait any longer. I’m petrified, nervous and so excited x

I’ve told two friends – one will be the one who takes me and picks me up on the day. I’m not telling my parents as they’ll disapprove and I’m not telling work because I can’t be arsed with all the bitchy comments. The most hilarious thing is my other half is working away and doesn’t get back until August…surgerys next Thursday ???? I know he’d never stop me but he’d guilt me (as previously) because it could pay for a holiday or something else. My kids are 12 and 10 and I’ve waited long enough now. I may be divorced by September but at least I’ll have gorgeous boobs and a big smile ????????????

100% I went through this with family and friends. “You’ll have a bad back afterwards” “you’ll forever be in a bra” “you look fine as you are”.

I don’t think people understand how hurtful their comments can be sometimes, especially if they’ve never been in the situation all us ladies are in.

I lacked confidence without boobs, I lived in 3x boost bras hence a lot of people thought I was mental going through with this as they had no clue of my real size.

At the end of the day it’s your body, nobody else’s, you can do as you wish. Tbh half the people talking about it, are probably jealous because they’d secretly love it done as well they just won’t go through with it xx

I had this all the time. I got loads of comments about “not needing it” “perfect as you are” and the most used was “you’ll look stupid like katie price”

It’s your body babe. It’s really hard to ignore the comments but honestly half the time I’d put it down to jealousy and them wanting it done.

Some people just don’t understand how much of a big important decision it is to choose to have them done.

Don’t let anyone influence your decision babe.
Have a healthy & happy recovery girl.

I would make an official complaint to HR and agree that you can take legal action against your boss and co workers for sexual harassment and for sharing your confidential information!
This is so illegal it’s unreal!

I have been completely honest. I just say it how it is. A lot of people have said you don’t need it… i have just said tough shit.. what they don’t realise is my boobs is ALL padding. Sick of taking my bra off at night and almost breaking the floorboards with the filling! Hahahhaha… At the end of the day.. girls who say you don’t need it.. jealous.. guys who say you don’t need it… Lying, they bloody cant wait to see them!!!

They should not legally be giving out your information to others like that. I agree, you should make a formal complaint to HR. The comments are sexual harassment. Having the matter addressed will certainly stop future comments too.

It is no one else’s business and you know yourself how you feel. For me it was the best thing I did for myself and I am sure many others would say the same… Do what feels right for you.

Yes I get this too. I’ve limited the people I tell for this reason although it’ll be fairly obvious. It’s your body and you are here and make decisions for your own happiness. You’re not responsible for anyone else! Own it girl life is too short!

I’m just like Louise I have told anyone who would listen to avoid whispers. TBF I have talked about getting mine done for years plus the outfits I am going to be wearing once I’m healed wont be hiding anything lol.
Don’t let them get you down hun, your body, your money, your life!!!
