Feel like there really pushing against the band today

Think there trying to pop out of this strapping band not sure how tight it needs to be or if they need to breathe a little they really don’t wanna be squished down by it anymore ha not hurting as such just can feel the pressure of them not wanting to be pushed down. Don’t know if I’ve got the band too high or what? Anyone know what position is the perfect one for helping unders settle. Feel like there getting bigger by the day ? xxx

Hi Hun I had a band and was told it should be tight but not so tight it’s hurting and should go abit further down ur back so it’s kinda pushing them downwards:) x

I saw the nurse today for my 7 day. She said I was wearing mine too low down. She repositioned it. The band needs to sit right under you armpits and then it goes across the front and back at that level. Mine now hurts and rubs my under arms but I’ve put some cotton wool there to make it more comfy. She also said wear it as tight as you can take it but not so that it restricts your breathing. I hope that helps. Xxx

Ahhh thank you sooo much will reposition it again this bloody band will be the death of me lol I’ve had it high up then low down but think I’ve found the right spot cause on my right boob my boob seems to have dropped into its pocket nicely an now I’m just waiting on the lefty but think it’s cause the band was on a wonk too so there was more pressure on the right xxxxx

And you are an absolute star readjusted an they feel so much better haha before the band was like reaching my nipple! Sooo much comfier now and just feels 100% better put little cotton wool pads where the strap meets the armpit area an I’m good to go! Xxx

Does everyone have a band? I don’t understand why some have them and some people I’ve seen don’t? Xxx

Think it’s surgeons preference and with unders most people have a band there’s no need for the band with overs they just sit up high doing there thing ha the band just helps the unders sit into there pockets properly xxx

Ahhh yeah you won’t have one then! You’ll probably just have the strapping an so much better today I’m only on ibuprofen an it’s only day 5 ha such a relief but my sis had overs and she’s said she was in no where near as much pain so you should be fine too ha wish I’d gone for them no haha was horrific but everyday is so much better an I love how they look!! When’s yours now? Xxx
