I’ve been so so excited but I now have less than 3 week until my op now and I am feeling slightly nervous. I am worrying mainly about the healing process I think… I am hoping I feel pretty decent after a week which is when I go back to work, i do only work in a call centre so its nothing strenuous thankfully. I am also worrying tht getting my boobs made bigger will make the rest of me look chunkier over all after i worked so hard to loose 4 stone (which is the whole reason my boobs are now so deflated)
Prbably just being silly :/
I’m not having mine until Jan which means I’ve waited 10 whole longggg months and I worry what if something goes wrong or I don’t like them or their too big or too small.. Omg I’d be devestated!!! But I suppose its the risk were taking!!! Just gotta get on with it 🙂 and they won’t make u look chunkier lol ul just look hotter!!! Lmao who’s ur surgeon and what are u going from and to? X
I am nearly 6 weeks post op and I honestly think it’s one of the best things I have ever done!! If you are just working in a call center you should be more than fine. I have to jobs 1 in a school and 1 in a busy cocktail bar, I went back to running around in the cocktail bar on the 7th day.
The 1st few days are hell, well they were for me anyway! getting out of bed int he morning made me want to cry, but soon a my strapping was off and I stopped taking the meds I was fine.
Aww thats made me feel a bit better. I think because my family have not been as up for it as me its just making me feel like im doing something wrong. But I know how much I will love it when its done. My mum is coming round to the idea, I think she was worrying more about the cost tbh lol x
Hi Natalie. I’m only 4 days post op but already feeling like it’s the best decision I’ve made! I’m 32 and was a bit droopy after weight loss too – hated my boobs! I found the whole process nerve-wracking beforehand but also really exciting. It was quite an experience. I’ve been so lucky that I had hardly any pain post-op. They won’t make you look chunkier (just sexier!). Yes there are risks involved (as there are with driving in a car/flying/rock climbing etc!) but remember how many BA’s are performed each day and how experienced the MYA surgeons are. Just make sure your surgeon knows EXACTLY what you hope to end up with – take in loads of photos!! I took a photo with me on my operation day and Mr Singh said he did refer to it during surgery. I’m thrilled with the result!
They look amazing, I am getting a bit more excited seeing every elses results. I dont even know if im having overs or unders! I was so uncomfortble getting my boobs out for the surgeon because they embarrass me! Put before pics up, cant even begin to imagine how mch better they will look in less than a months time!!
Hey natalie, I will be having mine done soon this month too, whens your op? I was gutted to know that once I have my op sports like Skydiving and bungee jumping will be at your own risk and unrecommended, thats what the nurse told me i have to ask my surgeon too. This made me wish I did all of these crazy things before I booked my op, now im thinking what else will i be restricted from 🙁
Obviously i want this BA but I hope i can live and do the things i hope to do without having to feel extra careful about everything xx
Hello! I have my surgery a week today and I have been so excited up until today … But I’ve started feeling so so nervous! I’ve wanted to have it done for as long as I can remember but it seems to have come around so quickly since I booked! I feel so underprepared! I don’t even know what I need to do ha! It’s probably just a blip. I’m a worrier – so it’s not really a shock! Glad to know its not just me though 🙂 I’m sure we’ll all be fine and wonder why we were ever worried once its all over and done with!! x
A week for me today too 😀 not really that nervous, just really excited as just want to meet my new twins!! Cannot wait to start packing my bags over the weekend 😀 xx
I’ve just looked at it myself and for some reason there’s only 17 comments :S when I last looked there was hundreds!!! Bizzare x
Where are you having yours done @Fino89?? I’m in preston with Mr Traynor. I’ve already started packing my bag. So far got my sports bra and some baby wipes! I’ve been studying the Boobie Bible! It’s been a massive help! x
Im having mine done 20th october, Iv been thinking about it on and off for years since I lost the weight but my i will have had all my consultations and op within a month! I couldn’t handle waiting any longer haha. I really do want to get a bit slimmer beforehand tho. I used to be 13st 4lb haha im 9st 5lb now I wld like to be 8st something before the op!
SNAP! Preston too with Dr Traynor too 😀 Ooooh, isnt this exciting. There’s another girl on here having it done on the same day 😀 What are your stats and what you having done babe?x
Ah yeah I spoke to another girl who was having hers on the 8th … But I was meant to be having mine on the 9th – they changed my date! How long have you been booked in for?! I’m currently a small 36b … Having either 525 or 560cc, going to decide on the day. What about you??
Well done Natalie on the weight loss! I’d have loved to have lost some weight before the surgery – everyone on here seems like skinny Minnie’s! I couldn’t wait any longer to get it done though! The time just seemed right! x
Well, at least its a day closer – would be a nightmare if they moved the date and its further! I would be crying and creaming about it lol! I have been booked in for about 3 weeks now. Had my PC and surgeon consultation in one day and booked it 2 days later haha so its all go go go!! Didnt really fancy setting it for months later cos the wait would have just killed me. I am a small 32A having 415cc soft touch full profile overs.. That’s the biggest Dr Traynor offered, which hopefully looks good for my frame. You been booked in for long?x
I’m definitely glad it’s a day closer but I was just really stressed out about getting the extra day off work, but it was fine in the end! Wow, that does seem like it was all a whirlwind for you! I had my pc and surgeon consult at the end of August, and same as you booked it in the day after! I’m having overs too … The natrelles. Not sure about my profile though, I didn’t really discuss that with anyone. But I trust Mr Traynors judgement! x
It was one of them “I need to do this now or I will never will”moment .. So paid my deposit and afterwards I was like “What have I just done?” haha, but I am chuffed now 🙂 Also having Natrelles. I’ve researched and got copies of pictures of boobs that I want to look like, so me and Dr Traynor will definitely be having chats! Haha x
That’s definitely what happened with me too. I knew I just had to go for it! I’ve got a feeling I’ll be having a few sleepless nights in the next week! Whether it be nerves or excitement! What size do you hope to end up with?! I can’t stop looking at bras! I can’t wait til I can go and buy bras!! Have you got your post op sports bra?! x
Im the ‘other girl’ on the 8th! Been too busy too worry about it yet….cant believe its only a week away! Xx
Ah hello!! Wonder how many of us there will be on the day?! I was feeling fine until literally today – and a mass of nerves just hit me!! Have you got much prepared?! x
Thanks! Im scared il look bigger with bigger boobs lol. Im hoping i loose some weight during recovery, I tend to just sleep when i feel icky and dont want to eat!
That’s one of my worries too! I’m tall and a size 12-14 so I’ve been really worrying that bigger boobs will just make me look frumpy! I just hope I end up looking more curvy and in proportion! x
Laura thats my worry too. Im 5ft 6 and a size 12 ( was hoping to be a 10 by now but too much going on to diet!!). Thinking of having 415cc from a 34a..dont want really big boobs just some boobs LOL..likewise dont want them too small. Hoping have some bust will even me out. Need to get myself more organised for the day, got a couple of Asda sports bras and a M&S zip up one….might order a Macom. Must go and get a V pillow too! xx
