So i’ve been emailing my pc asking a few questions, some she can’t answer so she recommended that i see my surgeon again. I’ve asked to do this and they can’t fit me in before my surgery unless i travel which i can’t.

I don’t know what to do!!

Hiya, Does your surgeon accept emails from patients? Just an idea – so you can pen everything down and hopefully ease your worries?? xx

I had exactly the same problem. I feel like when I went in for my first consultation with my surgeon it was very rushed and because I was in the moment I forgot to ask certain questions, and then after I was messaging my patient coordinator but she said some of them I would have to discuss with my surgeon but stupidly they do not allow you to speak to the surgeon over the phone or have any form of communication unless you book in again!

I guess it all depends on the questions you have, if it is regarding the implant sizes etc. then you would need to see the surgeon
but if they aren’t you may be able to find the information online?

I thought you couldn’t change the sizes of the implants on the day and if you want to you have to do it in advance by booking another appointment with the surgeon? Xxx

To change the size of your implants you have to book another consultation with your surgeon and this has to be 48 hours before your operation so they have time to order in the new implants

Well mr traynor was willing to change my while in theatre befor getting put to sleep as I asked the nurses to speak to him as I panicked thinking they where gonna be to big he agreed if I wanted to I could change then but he said for my high and build he would recommend I got the size I originally choose but he said it was up to me and he would do what I wanna go be more happy with xxxx

When you had a conversation at your consultation with your surgeon and you agreed on three implant sizes that were going to be ordered for your surgery and you want to get one of those sizes then it is fine to decide and tell your surgeon on the day what size you want.

However if you have completely changed your mind on the size that you want and it is not a size that was discussed in your consultation with your surgeon then you need to call in to book another consultation with your surgeon so you can discuss these sizes and order them in.

In my original consultation with my surgeon we agreed to order the size implants of 375cc, 400cc and 425cc, after this I decided that I wanted to have the option of going bigger so had to arrange another appointment to meet with my surgeon again to change the implants to 400cc, 425cc and 450cc. It wasn’t until the day of my operation that I chose what implant size out of the ones ordered that I wanted to get.
