Hi ladies,
I had my consultation yesterday with Dr. Giannas. Im booked in for BA on Friday 12th April. I went into the consultation feeling really excited and if I’m honest, I left feeling a little deflated (Pardon the pun!)
Im a 36B and after doing months of research had decided on roughly 400-500cc implants, I liked the moderate profiles and after speaking to many other ladies that have had implants, I knew I wanted to go under the muscle for the more natural look I was hoping to achieve.
Dr. Giannas said I had mild ‘sagging’ and would benefit from a lift. I had not even considered this to be honest and hadn’t thought my boobs were too bad in terms of droopiness! In any case he said I would still be suitable for implants without the lift and my patient coordinator explained after, he wouldn’t have passed me for the surgery if the lift was needed that badly. We settled on 450cc & 500cc in each boob as my left is bigger than my right. Dr Giannas suggested the high profile implants as opposed to moderates and he has advised to go over the muscle instead of under.
So everything I thought I would be going is now the opposite. Im tall (5’10”) and im broad shouldered so thought the moderate suited this frame better? Im also concerned that over the muscle will look to ‘stuck on’ especially opting for the high profile which naturally stick out more in projection! Also, id heard that under the muscle provided more support against sagging and im worried that having 450/500cc implants with no support under the muscle will enhance the sagging!!
Wahhhh! Sorry for the long rambling post, just after some advice and reassurance really – its a lot of money to spend to get wrong! My head is full of boobs!!!
Thanks for listening!! xxx
