Feeling down :-(

Not been on for a couple of weeks but I am now 6 weeks post op on Tuesday and I was really looking forward to getting to this point but instead of looking forward to going back to the gym and finally trying on nice bras instead I spent most of my 6 weeks in pain and was admitted to hospital Friday night where I was put on a drip of antibiotics . Anybody else not
Healed properly ? My boobs actually look really great and I love them but can’t enjoy them as there too sore to touch and constantly weeping where my stitches are 🙁

Hey hun, don’t worry sounds like I am in a similiar position to you! I am not post op 3 weeks but I was in and out of A&E for the first 2 weeks on drips and all sorts…
I am now 3 weeks and 2 days and still very sore. Mine are sore to touch and still don’t have much movement at all! Sorry to hear your stiches aren’t healing well. It can get very depressing being sore and not ‘normal’ for so many weeks on end. I’ll admit I do keep having the odd cry as I am exhausted from the constant pain. Worries me to think I could be like this in another 3 weeks!!

On the plus side we now have boobies, and even though it is taking slightly longer we will be healed eventually and be able to enjoy them xx

Sorry to hear you’re not having a good time of it.. Maybe get a vitamin tonic from chemist to boost your levels, and get stuck into fruit and veg… Might just build your immune system back up. You’ll be run down if your body has constantly been trying to fight infection. Hope you get better soon xxx

Orr thanks for the support not just me then ha ! I’ve been on antibiotics for 2 weeks now
And still feel in pain I’m just hoping that I will be ok in 2 weeks time for my holiday as the nurse was talking about maybe opening up the pocket to see what was going on if it didn’t improve . I can’t cope going through another op and back to day 1 again plus wouldn’t be able to fly 😥
