I’m 6 days post op and I feel so down, in the past 2 days I’ve managed to fall out with my boyfriend and daughter because of my mood.
I love my new boobs but just feel so down, feel like crying if anyone says anything wrong to me.
Yesterday I just wanted to be alone so went to bed but got so pissed off with daughter and boyfriend telling me to get out my mood and asking what was wrong with me, I ended up shouting at them and falling out with them.
Today I woke up thinking I felt better but soon as the boyfriend rang me I snapped.
Did anyone else feel like this? Xx

Our bodies have been through the mill so we have 2 express our emotions somehow. Bless u. Hope u snap out of it soon xx

Hey Hun sorry to hear you’re down 🙁 I think it’s natural to feel like this, I’ve heard it could be side affects to the anaesthetic but from what I’ve read from other ladies and know from my own experience, it is an emotional roller coaster. I felt really down some days too and unexpectedly moody or upset without even knowing why I was feeling that way. Having said that Hun it does pass and we do get back to our ‘normal’ moods and you’re only in your first week so that’s when a lot of it happened for me. I’d say around week 2 and onwards I started to feel back to my usual self but still had the odd emotional days but as the weeks go on you’ll come out if that Hun.

It’s normal Hun I had the same right around day 6 /7 PO and I’m sure it’s all related to drugs leaving the body and healing etc x hope you feel better soon! Xx

Hey hun I was emotional a few weeks after my op, it’s normal from the anaesthetic, make sure you tell them it’s not your fault xx

Thanks girls, I just don’t think other people understand. I’m going to have a nice movie night with my daughter and try and make it up with her, the boyfriend will just have to wait, if he not going to support me whilst I’m like this he is not worth it.
I’m pleased it’s quite normal after surgery.
Hopefully I will feel better after my week one assessment tomorrow xxx
