Any advise? anyone is feeling the same? Thanks girls XX
Hi Hun .sorry to hear you still feeling the Uncomfortable .It’s really important to move around as much as you can . It won’t be long until you start to feel normal again now . I never felt hungry either just drink loads more water than normal take your vitamins. And eat fruit. Your boobs will be high for a while mine dropped at different times I’m 8weeks now and my scars are in the crease now it make a huge different to the way they look and feel . Most of the aching and pulling feelings are healing pains . Kinda like a good pain if that makes any sence. Try and go for a walk each day . And relax your breathing as it pulls the muscles under your boobs giving you that tight feeling. I found I got so tired for the first two weeks but the surgeon said avoid laying in bed during the day . I did randomly drop of to sleep on the sofa , but not for long . I will add you Hun xx
Hey, I’m 4 days post-op as well. I’m hating mornings as well, and I’m finding it do difficult to do stuff because when ever I walk I just want to hold my boobs lol! And they are crazy itchy!! (I know that’s a good thing cuz it means they’re healing but still!!). My flat is a studio flat that I share with my husband so its very small, and I don’t have much to do except work on my school stuff which involves sitting in front of my laptop/ipad all day, so I’m desperate for reasons to get out of the house for small periods of time…I’m also having to force myself to eat, but I’m making sure its all SUPER healthy so I can get better ASAP, as the weather is finally picking up and I want to be able to go for long walks! I know it will get better, and they are looking better for me, its just frustrating! I can’t wait for my postop appointment so I can see how they are doing and maybe even shower!! Xx
Many thanks Em!I have Already added u!Glad to reas your advise.I am eating fruits ,liquids and veggies but a few…You are righ hun Im going to avoid the be laying on bed during the day and move around the house..dont know if Im prepare still to go outside for a walk :S.The bandages are very tight even the nurse of the hospital told me dont need to wear the sport bra this week because of that , any way Im wearing it just in case so thats why Im not breathing deeply .I will need to be more positive, relax and dont panic. Thanks hun Xx
Hi Christine!we are in the same position then! Yes Im holding my boobs as well and walking like a camel..is so itchy but as you say is part of the healing.I dont want to look to much at my boobs,Im afraid!so I will wait till the post op appoitment when they take off the bandages..Thanks hun and have good 4 days post op !x
You can take off most of your bandages at 4 days just leave the parts over the incision area . It takes ages to get it of start at the top be very carful use a wipe to push it roll the sticky parts of as you go you don’t want to leave them to last . Have a look at my pics I was strapped to high heaven but was told to still wear a support bra . It’s much comfyer with one over the top . Xx
Hey Laura, I had mine last Sat and I know how you feel. Had a really blue couple of days when wasn’t sleeping well. Today I washed my hair in the sink and had a shallow bath and I am wearing a dress instead of pj’s….I do feel loads better. try to do some things you know make you feel good! Also it is good to read other girls post like Em who are bit further ahead but we can see it’s not too far away. Hope you feel better x
Ha know what you mean about morning boob as well it really aches to get up. Last night was naughty and had slumped right down to almost flat position in morning felt like a turtle stuck on my back, took me about 10mins to do a sidewards roll out of bed and had very sore boobies after lol!
Thanks Jennifer! This forum helps a lot because you see all this things are normal. I washed my hair today as well and felt like a normal person.Im going to add u if you dont mind 🙂 XX
I would honestly say try and act as normal as your body lets you and you will feel better for it. I know it can be tough. I had surgery on tues evening but have been have been so lucky and been out and about every day, making sure I am up and dressed and trying to do normal stuff – been shopping, driving, dinner parties and I live on my now so have to do everything by myself. Today I visited friends, walked six miles, had dinner and a glass of wine and as long as I take it easy I feel great for it. Your body is healing, last to it but try kep moving.
Ps mornings are a bitch!!! xxx
