I’m 3 weeks and 2 days post op. I don’t get any pain anymore which is fab. I know we’re not supposed to do excercise till 6 weeks but do you think I would be okay doing sit-ups and stuff? Everybody’s bellies on here look really trim and mines just like santas.
Also at the 6 week check how do they decide if your incisions are healed? I have no more scabs anymore there just scars does this mean I’m on the way to healing? Ive got a spa booked for my birthday 3 days after my 6 week check so panicking a bit.

I had to run the other day at work only about 100m and it wasn’t fast but yeh it felt weird, it didn’t hurt but it was odd. I want to be able to do sit ups and stuff but I think that’s going to be pulling on my belly too much. I lost half a stone before my op and I’ve near enough put it all back on again but hey I kinda knew that was gonna happen. Hate to think how large I’m gonna be by the time it comes to 6 weeks hahaha! Wud be fab for some sport enthusiast to shed some light on this deffinitly!!!!!!
LOL yes please sports enthusiasts shed some light on this!!! Awwww i am sure another couple of weeks won’t make a lot of difference to your weight hun. Just think you are halfway mark now to the 6 weeks!!
I know eeeeek 3 more weeks and hopefully will get the all clear! Got a tax rebate today which is clearly a sign for my to go crazy in boux avenue and victoria secrets hahaha!!!
I was told a big no no for sit ups until I was 6 weeks that was agony for me, but I brought a bike at 4 weeks and I was on that and that helped loads with my belly, I still don’t really do sit ups I don’t like the feeling it has on my boobs like as if their tensing up so im guessing that’s why you cant do them for 6 weeks as they tense up a lot!
I done squats at 3 weeks, and 4 weeks I know you can do a light jog just double up on sports bras so they literally don’t move! go on the bike just not the cross trainer!
your both are too early to be doing anything so both wait till your 4 and half weeks 5 weeks to actually do stuff, but on a bike is fine to me and squats x
I feel fat too! I’ve actually been relatively naughty week two i.was dying to.ride my horse so i.did! I only had my macom on and although i only intended onwalking him i.trotted a little bit and it felt wierd they were.going.up and down. I.didn’t do much.but it was enough.yo.realise i.need.to.get decent sports bra!! I have also.been.hiking up and down hills very quickly just.to.feel my.heart pounding i.even.ran.up a hill a.couple.of times and i.felt fine! I’ve been doing squats as these are easy and i tried sit.ups which i hate as it is and Yeh.that.felt.wierd!!! Im thinking of getting a.shock.absorber sports.bra anyone else got one?
Thanks Rinaule!! That’s interesting to hear. It really is killing me not doing anything. The thing is it’s even worse now as I feel pretty much fine to want to start doing things but like you said it is far too early isn’t it! I have a bike at home so may just do that. Stomach exercises i deffo won’t risk till 6 weeks but i have been naughty and been waling up and down the stairs for like 10 mins at a time to get my heart racing this week. I have really good sports bras for the gym so hopefully will be ok when i start properly running!!
I’m not a gym fanatic but now I have boobies to show off and want to slim right down for my 21st in November! I have a gym membership, which i really should use…
My friend regretted getting back into the gym so soon, she said she thinks doing her gym classes and weights is the reason why one boobs a different shape to the other where she’s using her muscles vigiariously! Which worries me. So I reckon i’ll stick to the cross trainer and bike within the next couple of weeks. 🙂 xxx
I wouldn’t do sit ups but I was thinking I’ll just go on the exercise bike to burn some energy and stay in shape.
You could probably get away with some squats and lunges too.
Hey Han!! Had mine done 3 years ago and deffo would not do sit ups!!! Only do exercise that uses ur lower body apart from running!!! Bike, cross trainer etc. It only takes a strain or to move awkwardly and u could cause some damage! Eat healthily and ull be fine!!! Id say the bike in the gym Is the best thing! But glad ur healing well woo 🙂 xxxxxxx
*cross trainer but don’t use the moving arms part, just hold onto the rail thing infront

youre welcome hunny! Just remember its a short amount of time to sacrifice, and a lot of money u have sent. Any weight gain can be fixed, a slip with ur implants or anything will be painful and costly!!! Enjoy this time in that u have an excuse for not going the gym hehe xxxxxx
thank goodness its not just me Iv put half a stone in the last 4 weeks i am dying to get back but equally i dont want to do any damage for the sack of a couple of weeks. Unfortuntaly Im used to burning a load of calories in the gym everyday then eating what i want – Im starving constantly at the minute so I have to eat!! and i want sugary things when i feel ribbish which diesnt help at all.

Im also soo worried about the no exercising thing! Everything I do involves upper body & abs. Will jave 2 lock myself in the house and just do loads of stretching for 6 weeks lol
Remember as well all that Medication and GA will bloat you out for ages and youl still be swollen abit around the belly area! Don’t worry tho it will all get better but the exercise bike helps loads x x
I’m just over 5 weeks and my scars still ache if I over do it so wouldn’t fancy a big gym session, could do bike though as that must have next to no impact on your boobs especially if you double up on sports bra just to be sure x
