Sorry to hear that Nat, not nice. Is it your antibiotics perhaps, they can make you feel sickly. I must admit that I flipped onto myside around day 5, I’m day 7 today and been for my dressings changed. Spoke to nurse and she said they recommend being propped up for 7-10 days post op cos of swelling. So as long as your managing some of the night propped up I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Ive had a lovely time after going for my check up, met my friend for a coffee and then bit of light retailing looking at lovely bras!!! Home now and ready for a nap!!! Back to work Monday so I’m making the most of it!!

    Hi Nat..
Sorry to hear this, I was similar to you (minus feeling sick) I turned on my side as back pain was too much to handle! One of the other girls on here done the same, it’s normal.
I supported myself with pillows after i realised it was the easiest way for me to get off to sleep. I’m 4 weeks post op and my sleeping still isn’t back to normal, I get pangs regularly and when i wake up boy do I ache getting up! It’ll take a while but it’s worth it hun.

Also – sickness, most girls seem to blame it on the meds, I changed to paracetomol after day 3 as I got paranoid!

Hope this helped. Here to talk if you need too x
