Finally booked surgery 25th Jan Preston x

So, after years of debating I have finally took the steps to book my surgery with Mr Traynor. I am beyond excited. Just out of curiosity how many people are allowed to come with you as my boyfriend wants to come & so does my mum as she drives and he doesn’t so far and they want to both be there lol.

Also, what things should I take? I’m sure my nurse will tell me at my pre-op next week but I know girls who have been previously recommend things that they should of taken that the nurse’s don’t tell you about..
if that’s true.

Im in with Dr Traynor the day before and have my pre op next week yoo. All becoming real now.

I know so excited. I was gonna do the 24th too but got booked up before i could pay my deposit. Atleast you can update on how it goes haha, Are you having overs or unders?x

Im having unders think im going for 350 or 375. My sister had dr traynor and she loves hers.

Ah how exciting! I asked if my boyfriend and mum could come and was told I’m only allowed 1 person in the hospital with me.
Also I’ve not had my surgery yet (4th January) but have seen girls take some button/zip up loose pjs, slippers, pain killers (they do give you some there though apparently) magazines, phone/iPad, charger, pillow for the car journey back home, Macom/sports bra for after surgery, light snack (something dry like snack a jacks, breakfast biscuits or some chocolate), peppermints for your throat after surgery, and overnight essentials incase you have to stay over. Xx

Hi hun, I’ve heard the same but been told that there is a waiting room also and only one in the actual room. I think I’m going to bring them both anyway i’ll have to see and dicuss it with the nurse. Aw so sooner than me! which I got an earlier date now I feel like mine is ages away I’m so excited! Whos your surgeon?
