Finally have my new boobs! 1dpo

Had my op yesterday with Mr traynor at Preston, went for 400cc in my left and 375cc in my right to correct assemetry. I’m so happy with how they turned out! I know they will never be perfect or completely symmetrical but they are so much better than what they were, during pregnancy my right boob drooped more as it was always a cup size bigger and it was so noticeable something had to be done! I’m hoping my nipple on my left eventually stretches to the same size as the right with the weight, Mr traynor said it most likely would so that’s good!

Op went great my admission was 2pm, was in theatre for 3 and out by 4pm, I had a bad turn with the anaesthetic though and was very drowsy, struggled to wake up and was sick, I was given 2 lots of different anti sickness medications but both made me worse, couldn’t keep down any liquids or food, was given a third lot at 7pm which made me very drowsy but did the trick and I was discharged at 10pm, didn’t have any pain whatsoever in my boobs which the nurse was impressed with but took some paracetamol when I got home just incase it got painful at night!

Woke up at 7am feeling great, didn’t wake up once during the night, not really had any pain just a dull ache, took some more paracetamol just incase but not had any ibuprofen yet, been for a wander around the house and had some breakfast, had a sneak peak this morning and am in love, not much bloating yet either but I know that could change over the next few days! I’ll try and upload a pic, so happy tho!! Xx

Hey, I had mine done with Mr Traynor around 1.30pm at Preston yesterday!! So good to see someone else’s and I’ll be following your journey to see how they develop and how it’s going. I’ll post some pics at some point today and write abit about yesterday and how I’ve been feeling…xxxx

Aww so good to see other people who had there’s too yday! I’m feeling surprisingly well, just an achy pain like you but I know it’s usually between day 2-4 that are the worst so fingers crossed it’s still manageable for all of us, what size did you both have? Xx

Aww good, I’m glad Natalie. Hopefully it’s all positive from here on out.

I’m just really swollen and bloated and the skin in between my chest is really stretched and bruised. But I’m trying to drink lots of water to help. They seem huge and misshapen at the moment but 600s in the space I had was a stretch. I’ve put a pic on my profile from today but not brave enough to post a braless one yet.

Have you all sorted post op check ups? I spoke to the nurse today and have booked in on 31st X

Yeah Lindsey I can imagine yours are feeling stretched at the moment, I bet they will look amazing once healed though! The bloating has just come on for me, I literally look pregnant again lol I booked my post op at my pre op and it’s for next Thursday, really looking forward to it!

I got my post op booked in at my pre op with the nurse. She just gave me a date and asked me what time I would like. Mine is 28th at 1.30pm. Xxxx

Hi Natalie, what did they do to wake you up from anaesthetic? This is what my mum and I are worried about for my op as I had a tooth out at aged 7 with gas & air to go to sleep and they struggled to wake me up after .. I took a long time to come round- even so the anaesthetist was running around for someone to come and help… “/ x

Hi gen I can’t actually remember what they did to wake me up it’s all abit of a blur, I remember they were talking to be loads and tapping me and said I took a long time to come round, I didn’t have any appetite and I just wanted to sleep, I remember it took all my
Energy to stay awake, they tried to give me biscuits but the thought of them made me sick so I only managed one but then threw up, it was all the anti sickness meds they have me that made me more drowsy, I tried to have a wander around the room which helped and once the third lot of meds starte working they gave me 2 bags of fluid as I was really dehydrated, I woke up in the end but I still wasn’t 100%, as soon as I got home at 11 I got straigh in bed and was out like a light till the next morning and then felt fine, I know that that probably doesn’t help much but hopefully it will work out fine for you, you will b win good hands anyway hun the staff are all fab and really friendly xx

I’m absolutely fine Natalie. My stitches are super itchy and sleeping is a bit of a pain but I’m doing well I think just tryin to take it easy. How about you? Xxx

Aww that’s great! I’m not doing bad thanks, woke up this morning and incisions were burning a little but I hurt myself over stretching just before bed so I’ve got an ice pack on which is helping, not really needed any pain meds though but I know the next couple of days are suppose to be the worst for pain lol xx

Ooh be careful. It is so hard to just do nothing but it’s not for long and will be worth it in the end. I haven’t needed th pain meds either but have took them anyway to help with th swelling. How do you feel about yr new boobs then? Do you love them? Xxx

Omg it really is I’m bored stiff! Like you said tho it’ll be so worth it in the end! Most people say after day 4 they feel well enough to do most things so that’s somethibg I suppose lol which pain meds have you taken for swelling? I got paracetamol and ibuprofen but I was still drowsy when the nurse was explaining which ones to take etc that I don’t really remember! I’ve just taken a couple of paracetamol but not put he’d the ibuprofen yet? Absolutely in love with my new boobs they look amazing compared to before they were so bad! How about you, do you love yours? Xx

Yep I’m bored as too probs tryin to do too much than I should I just can’t help it though. I was given the same. Ive been taking 2 paracetamol and then 2 ibuprofen 2 hours later with my antibiotic and again every 2 hours until had th max if that makes sense. Yeah I love them so much I’m so happy so far I just don’t want the swelling to go and be like where have they gone. I know the drop and fluff has to happen tho so they will come back. It all feels like a tease I just want th finished look now haha xxx
