Finally have my admission time – HELP !!!

Hi Girls,

OMG it’s so real now, 3 days to go…

I have my admission time 730am @ Fitzroy (23rd) – I’m glad of that so hopefully not starving for ages hehe 

Can you girls please advise if you have had 7.30 admission? What time you went down, what time you was out of surgery and what time you was allowed to leave ?

Also, is it 6hrs before admission time you can’t eat and 2hrs you can’t drink anything ??

Any tips or anything will be appreciated, so nervous now !!!

My admission time was 7.30am to! I was the first one down around 8.50 they keep you updated with what’s going on! I can’t remember what time I came round as I was in and out of sleep but was allowed home at around 4pm! You’ll be absolutely fine everyone is brilliant xx

I prefer the morning so I don’t have all morning to worry about it. I can’t believe it’s happening on Friday !!

Also, I may miss the morning traffic and hopefully the evening traffic 

When did you get your admission time? I am still waiting for mine 🙁 Im guessing I will find out tomorrow. Hoping mine will be morning too but maybe not as early as 7.30am lol

@sophie 6 hours before you can’t eat and you can drink water upto 2 hours before your admission time. Good luck! X

@Sarah I had mine Tuesday morning surely, they would have it by now.
I am glad i am at 7.30 although means leaving about 4.30 – 5am, I may miss morning traffic and may miss evening traffic and be home in bed by 9 🙂

My admission time was 7 and I was second down at half 11 and I left about 4 xxx

I had my op this morning. Admission was at 7am and was luckily first one down. Waiting for me was the worst. I’ve been in and out of sleep up till now and still feel quite dozy.
I was quite nervous about the whole thing but I can’t praise the mya staff enough. Everyone has been so lovely and so far everything has gone so smooth (touch wood!)
