Finally my full story :) (its a long one)

My journey started with a two hour drive to the highfield in rochdale. i arrived at 11;30am and had a short wait ing the lobby before being taken to my room. it was clean and spacious with a small tv and an onsuite. me and my husband were given menus to pick from for our meal later in the day, i have to say the choice was terrible and for the price you pay to stay the fact your partner doesnt even get a meal included is ridiculous…anyway 🙂 i had three different nurses come and do medical checks, again a bit silly but not to much hassle. I was told i would be going down at 3:30 which confused me as i was told there were no day cases for this day so i had to pay mya £400 for an over night stay. when i asked the nurse she confirmed that this time is classed as a day case and i would be free too leave all being well anytime up to 10:30pm and i should ring mya and request a refund for an uneccesary stay. i did try and get in touch but no was available..back to that later! we watched some tv and passed a bit of time and i had no nerves at all, mr traynor came in to see me at about 2:30pm and drew on me asked how i was made a few jokes and put me rght at ease. he really is a lovely man! i asked him about the over night stay situation and he was also adimant it wasnt at all needed as i would be out of surgery by 5pm and to query it. so away he went and i waited another hour, then a porter came in went through my medical questions again and took me down. this is when the nerves kicked in 🙁 i started to really shake and felt so sick! i went into a little room and it was so clinical i panicked a bit. i was asked to lie on the table and the anethetist started to put the canular in ( didnt hurt a bit) he then put two tubes of the dream cream in my hand and i was off…….50mins later i was coming round in the room and i had new boobies 🙂 now this is where my story gets a little squiffy and i dont want to put girls off i just want to give a full honest account of my experience…from here i driffted in and out of sleep for a while and felt horrific, i can take a lot of pain but for some reason i cant take pain relief! the general and the morphine sent me off my head and i could hardly feel my body it was awful. i didnt recognise my husband for hours and couldnt even look at my new boobies! when i eventually did start coming round felt too sick to eat but i had a look and i was over joyed with the results! two tiny dressing and lovely boobs! the nurse even said they were some of the better she had seen 🙂 i left the hospital a few hours later and drove to the hotel my husband had booked. i took an ibrufen and went to sleep. the whole time i was in hospital and the hotel i slept flat on my back (the nurse said this was fine and being propped up is all nonsence). i travelled home and stopped for a coffee, the pain was bareable so i took no pain relief. later that evening i felt quite a bit of pain so i took my prescribed antibiotics and cocodamol. again all down hill from here….i again was off my head and couldnt stay awake, i couldnt really speak propery at one point and it ddnt help the pain as i just couldnt move at all. my husband literally did everything for me for three days. the next day i began violently throwing up and this lasted two days i couldnt even keep water down. i eventually rang the emergency line as i was so worried the nurse told me to stop the meds and see how i felt. so i did and by the same time the next day i was i different person. i havent taken any pain relief since friday night (had op wednsday) and although im in pain i feel so much better for it. i am thrilled with my boobs they are dropping and very soft already. i have been wearing an asda sports bra (£4) and have had it off for a am hour or so a day for comfort. i have slept flat on my back and mainly on my side since the day of my op and its caused no problems for me and hasnt prolongued my swelling or bleeding. back to the point of the over night stay, my husband rang my pc and made a complaint as we feel we were lied to, aftera few phone calls back and forward of then trying to tell us i did need an over night stay etc and them missing the point entirely he was told someone would get back to him. we have heard nothing since…and i havent had so much as a text from my pc to see how i am, even after ringing the emergency line. very dissapointing and cant help but feel now they have the money they dont really care. Not great after care at all. Anyway this is my story 🙂 in short i would make sure ypu have someone to help and look after you if need be as my experience wasnt great. but dont let that put you off going for it! i feel amazing now ive got them and its money well spent!!! feel free to ask any questions xxxxx

Hiya hun god what a story. Firstly so glad you are made up with the newbies and congratulations on joining the boobylicious club xx Poor you sounds like you where really put through it and recovery wasn’t good at all ( glad your feeling better now tho). It’s such a shame Mya have let you down in such a huge way sadly this seems to be rather common and after care with them is letting them down in a big wayl. Like yours my pc was never to be heard from again once the financial side of things was sorted. lucky for me I had no problems and didn’t need her as she never got back to my messages before my op so i wouldn’t of held my breath of her getting in touch after my op.
I really hope you get it sorted as it very unfair you had to pay for the overnight stay when it wasn’t required. Try not to let it take the shine off the new boobs tho hun otherwise you will get really down about it 🙁 keep on at them till you get some answers and refunded the money as it sounds like you were oversold to.

Thanks hun, I just thought I should give as much detail as possible I know all the girls stories really helped me. I’m not giving up on the refund, I think it’s terrible the more I go over things in my head. I’m going to put pre and post op pics for everyone to see. I’m embarrassed with my before but think it will help people x

Fight all the way or that refund hun
cuz even if they say you needed it, you didnt use it
so should get the money back for what wasnt used.
Who is your pc? MYA and their priorities are completely
whack, thankfully with my lipo op the only problem I had
was a PC that didnt get back to me, surgeon and nurses were great.
I have a new PC now though Krystina who is amazing!

My husband is on the phone to a solicitor as we speak, they said we have a case for a mis sell it’s unfortunate that the more people I speak to the more I hear about these things happening. They need to sort it out! My pc is Julie in Newcastle who I actually think is lovely, maybe her hands have been tied x
