Finally plucked up the courage

Eeeeeee my God, finally just booked my first consultation for Jan the 9th in Newcastle, feeling pretty overwhelmed/excited. 2014 is already looking promising!

p.s did anyone take any pictures with them to their first consultation and what questions did you ask?

Yeh I took a picture of the kind of boobs I want it’s really helpful and saves tryin to explain!

Hi Nancy, I had my initial consultation on 30/11/13, met my surgeon on 12/12/13, my pre-op on 24/12/13 and my op yesterday (30/12/13) so exactly a month for me as I asked for a late space so it was very quick and got a £750 discount for the late space! If you’re flexible on dates discuss late spaces with them 🙂 xx

I havent had my op yet but it will be about 2 months from initial chat to op x

Ah brill… How do late spaces actually work, for example as i live close enough to have the op either at manchester or Preston…. would this mean there could possibly be more of a chance of getting a late space as i have an option for either manchester or preston?
Becasue ideally id like to get the op done before all my revision and exams start!

I meet my surgeon on 10jan, in with nurse 11th Jan, and booked in for 22nd Jan at Highgate, very nervous, i did originally have the date of feb 5th but asked for them to call me if anything popped up, it did so i took it but i don’t qualify for the discount?? Xc

Why dont you qualify for the discount?

Im not sure how it all works to be honest, my PC is Wanda at Birmingham, she’s amazing. I asked to be considered for a late space as I wanted it doing before 6th Jan to fit in with work. I was originally booked in for 3rd Jan and she just made a quick phonecall to see if I could have the discount for that date as it was the last booking available and they agreed it. My surgery then had to be cancelled on Christmas eve and was moved to 30th Dec so quite last minute. Your PC should be able to tell you about late spaces that are available in your consultation depending on which surgeon you chose and their availability and if you want it doing by a certain date, I know Wanda was excellent with me and really went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks hun, hope i can qualify for a late space, only way i can afford it is with the discount, other wise ill have to wait till summer when im working again! xx
