Hi, I am having my initial consultation this week and unsure what to expect/ask?
I have wanted BA since I was 20 but glad I waited as my body changed a lot since then. I have finally got my body into the best shape by gyming and lifting weights but sadly this has made me drop a cup size.
Any tips for what to expect?
For your first ever one with a coordinator or surgeon?
Hi Janine
I would definitely ask about how soon can you go back to the gym after the op to keep your body healthy and looking your best.
I’m still researching but already have a long list of questions to ask, so when I have my first consultation they will probably get annoyed but ah well!
Remember you are going to have full blown surgery so any worries you have before your appointment make a quick note and ask when you have the opportunity.
Hope it all goes well x
These are the questions I had written down before hand. I’d already a consultation at a clinic prior to this one and they were both incredibly different.
Do be prepared to have to take your top off. Show your breasts.
An application for finance (if you’re not paying up front) will be done there and then.
Your medical form will be discussed as well as why and what you hope to gain from surgery.
I found it much more laid back than my previous consultation and everyone I’ve met so far has been lovely.
Thank you girls! I had a good feeling exercise would be out of the question for minimum 6 weeks. My main concern is that I am a self employed seamstress and don’t want to spend too much time off work.
Hopefully the look I want is achievable. Did any of you take in examples of work you wanted/liked? I have a folder of boobs on my phone at the moment which looks slightly pervy xD
Hi @janine I had my first consultation last Saturday
I was really nervous but my PC was lovely and told me everything I needed to know
She gave me all her contact details so if I had any questions Iafter I could contact her
It was fine and nothing at all to worry about
Hope this helps xx
