Can’t believe it’s all over. And I’m feeling a lot better than I thought I would be – fingers crossed tho, as I know a few girls on here have said that day three can be tough.

So, I was at Highgate yesterday with the wonderful Mr Singh. My admission time was midday, I’d gotten up at 5am to have my last cup of tea but had my last meal the night before (big mistake!)

The staff were fantastic, so kind and helpful. My only moan is that I didn’t go down until 17:15 which seemed to drag on forever and I was close to 24hrs without grub so I was starving! But it was all worth it. I felt really calm and if anything, was looking forward to the surgery which I think helped. I’ve had GA once before and woke up bawling my eyes out but yesterday I was chatty and smiley and wanted to talk to everyone around me!

As soon as I was back to my room, I was on the tea and toast and had ordered an OJ, pasta bake and a tub of vanilla Hagen Das! Which I munched in no time and even helped the fam finish theirs!

Got home about midnight. Popped a couple of painkillers and had a great nights sleep – my two v pillows are the best investment that I’ve made, alongside my Macom.

I’ve obviously got a bit of discomfort – my new girls are numb, it’s difficult getting up, I need help going to the toilet and my incisions are sore today but the worst part is that I’m itching all over – think this is a side effect of the GA?

Can’t tell much at the moment but am very pleased with what I can see. To anyone worried about their big day, don’t be – try to enjoy it. It’ll be over before you know it! x

Congratulations!! 🙂 I went in before you! I had a huuuuge wait too but its all worth it! Just put some pics up! Pain not too bad just my lower back is killing me! I was so starving I actually thought I was going to faint before the surgery, was such a relief when I finally got down there 😀 I’ve got my m&S zip up on.. couldn’t get a macom as they were sold out in all 3 colours in my back size when I looked! :{ But this is really comfortable 🙂 How you feeling about your results so far? What size/implant type did you have? xx

Your pics look fab Katie-Emma! You must be so pleased. What a difference?! I’ll get round to posting some in a bit.
I think you might have been in the room next to me… we’re you in 207?
I noticed that the Macoms we’re running low in stock, as was going to order another – but they’ve not got my size. I was a small 34b on my left and a large 34c on my right – so went for a 34 (Medium) Macom which fits a treat. I have a zip up M&S too but haven’t tried it yet – could only get it in a 36dd, so god knows if it’ll fit!
I ended up having 470 TSX in the smaller one and 375 TSM in the larger. They’ve now swapped and the one that was smaller now seems bigger but I’m expecting this for a few months. How about you, what did you have? xx

Yeah I was 🙂 I’m sorry if my loud relatives kept disturbing you! lol I had 420cc TRX overs in both from a 32a.. my m&s is a 32dd that ive got on but will prob need a D when they’ve gone down a bit 🙂 Looked dead small when I looked down and then I saw my reflection and was like wow!! Really pleased! 🙂 Ive just checked and they’ve got a 32 macom in champagne now so may invest :D, my one side seems a lot pointier than the other but I think that’s probably because theyre strapped differently! xx

Haha! No, didn’t hear a thing – although it would have been hard over all the noise coming from my family!! So apologies right back at you if you heard us! 🙂
Yes, def go for a Macom – I highly recommend and as they adjust, you don’t need to worry if you go up and down cup sizes over time. xx

Ohhh they look brill 😀 bet you’re dead pleased.. you’d never tell that they used to be different sizes on the after pic!! 😀 I’ve just tried to order a Macom but the discount code isn’t working properly so I’ve had to email them.. It knocks the discount off and then in the final checkout it takes it off and goes back to the normal price :/ xxx

Thank you Chanel! @Katie-Emma, thank you – yes I am really pleased. Especially as they’re only going to improve over time. It’s funny to see them from the camera angle, as when I look down, the left one with the larger implant looks bigger but the pic looks different. What a fab way to start 2014 girls 🙂
I’ll have to check what I was charged for my Macom in the end – I’ve got a feeling that the discount might not have been taken off of mine…
