first rippled holiday :'(

So I’m 12 weeks post op on the 22nd n have really bad rippling in my right breast. It’s starting to become noticeable in a bra and I have just got back off holiday and its so noticeable in a bikini ! My whole holiday was ruined as I was so paranoid about the rippling !! Some days I wish I never had them done ! 🙁 I go to see Mr mounir beginning of November for my 3 month check but I’m sure he’ll tell me there’s nothing he can do ! What I wanted to know is if anyone has had fat transfer or knows any other way to sort it out? I just hate them right now :'( xxxxx

Hi hun, so sorry to hear that! I hope your ok 🙁 This is one of the main things I worry about – I am only 4 days post op, which is still early days! When did you start noticing it? And did it start small and gradually got bigger? Would love to know about the whole fat transfer situation just incase as well!xx

It’s disgusting ! I didn’t think it was that bad before I went on holiday but after wearing a bikini I can see how bad it actually is its so embarrassing. I started to notice it at three weeks when all the swelling went down n its just been getting worse since its all down the inner side of my boob so right in my cleavage and two big ripples where it slopes round to the top of my boob so really hard to hide. Hopefully u won’t get it I had cui’s which was my first mistake ! fingers crossed u won’t xxx

They say one of the main reason also for rippling is weight lose? Have you lost weight at all? Also, what were your stats before and what are you now hun? Sorry for all the questions – I am a worrier 🙁 really don’t want rippling!! Just sent you an add too, hope you don’t mind hun xx

It’s ok I’ve been trying to get pictures up for a bit but it doesn’t work from my phone 🙁 I’ve lost no weight if anything I’ve gained weight from not working out – I used to be a gym junky. I’m scared to go to the gym now too incase I lose weight and it gets worse nightmare !! Did u get natrelles ? Your deffo less likely to get it if u had natrelles so try not to worry 🙂 I was around 8st 9lbs 5ft7 32a-b pre op now I’m probably kreeping up to 9st and now a 30dd-32d I had 340cc cui implants over the muscle – really wish I had unders now ! xxxx

Thanks for accepting 🙂 Yeah I had the natrelles .. I did speak to Dr Traynor about it before i went down to theatre and he made me feel at ease. So hopefully I made the right choice. I go the gym a lot too, and 6 weeks without it will kill me! lol.. I think the uploader is working now – been uploading pics from my phone. Do you think you’ll end up getting fat transfer?xxx

See Mr mounir put my mind at ease before surgery saying he would probably put them.partially under the muscle to avoid rippling then I came out and he’d put them over ! Devestated ! N I’m not sure where does it don’t think mya do it and I think its really expensive like more expensive than the surgery don’t know what my options are really if I could get revision to go under the muscle maybe I don’t even wana ve thinking about all this though so soon post op its frustrating xxxx

Thanks hun I’ve been trying to gain a bit of weight but its all going to my stomach hips and arms. I have such a boney chest area ! I need to look into fat transfer really but I’ve heard its like 5k which is more than the surgery cost me to start with n the reason I got cui is because I couldn’t afford the natrelles wish I’d just saved up a tiny bit more n got the natrelles now cuz all this is gonna cost more in the long run ! I feel like I just want them out sometimes ! So frustrating ! xxxxx

Why do Naturelles have less chance of rippling? I had naturelles but I have overs.

I’m same stats as you and was going to go for 460cc but having 2nd thoughts now x

Natrelles are fuller think they’re 90% full where as cui are only 70% they are also a more cohesive gel so hold their shape better xx

So sorry, Ive just had surgery, and my breasts are still a little uneven, I was always advised to wait 6 months and then have fat transfer, but I just don’t know if I can warrant spending even more 🙁 …. Maybe your surgeon can advise. I don’t know much about rippling but I did read that it can be caused by a misplaced implant, and if this is the case then surely your surgeon should support the correction. I hope it all works out for you, and I hope you don’t mind the friend add. xxx

It’s probably true natrelles don’t ripple half as much as cui’s I’m so gutted and peed off with myself for getting the stupid things ! I just don’t even wana look at them at the moment 🙁 I feel disgusting shouldn’t feel like that after this surgery its supposed to boost my confidence which it did instantly but its gone again as my ripplings just getting worse and worse. I don’t even know where does fat transfer but I’m sure its way out of my price range anyway. I see my surgeon in a few weeks so will ask him but he’s just going to tell me there’s nothing he can do xxxx

Aw Dannii, I had soft touch overs , the firmest, and have got rippling along the cleavage in both boobs with those. I’m 10 months post op now and other than weight gain I don think there’s a lot that can be done about it unless you have a reop under the muscle. My surgeon’s Mr Mounir too and I saw him last month. He’s told me to come back in a year to discuss further options if I can’t live with it. At the mo, in a good supportive bra it goes away but in the nude it’s visible so I just have to find a bra which supports them enough to iron out the rippling. Mr Mounir said that if he went under the muscle with me, I might get skin hanging off the implant when I bend over so I don’t know whether I’m better sticking with what I’ve got or considering a reop under the muscle xx

What sort of bras hide it well for you? My normal day to day m&s t-shirt bra doesn’t hide them maybe I need to look at push up bras or maybe the bras that go across the clevage rather than plunge ones I think they’re called balcony or bralette bras. I’m sorry to hear u have it with natrelles 🙁 he thought on the day of my surgery if I had natrelles I wouldn’t get it. Will see him and see what he says. He’s such a nice man n I’m happy with the surgery u had from him just not the rippling which I know isn’t his fault its just he said the morning of my surgery that because I’d chosen cui’s he might partially put them under the muscle but then he didn’t so I’d quite like to know why he didn’t. I’ve heard it just gets worse and worse as time goes on. Has urs got worse since u first noticed it? When did u first notice it? Xxxxx

Hey Hun I’m so sorry to hear this and as you know for yourself it’s a bigger risk with both cui’s and overs @caz it’s because the shell isn’t as thick as the natrelles the only advice I can offer has already been suggested just try to put a few pounds on for your height and weight you would still look fantastic I have basically the same stats as you and my weight continually fluctuates by half a stone I think this is probably what your surgeon will suggest too Hun I’m really sorry your not happy xx

I have the same problem in my left breast I had to have a revision of the left 4 weeks ago I had rippling before with the bigger implant then developed CC I now have rippling again and I have over natrelles 🙁 I know they won’t do a re op for rippling unless it’s caused by CC I was 7 months post op before I had the revision.

Aw no Kim 🙁 that’s rubbish ! Could you not go under the muscle? Suppose it wouldn’t be worth it if the re op was only one boob. Does your rippling go in a bra like Sharon’s does? Maybe I just need to invest in some really good bras because the ones I have now u can still see the rippling after about ten minutes of wearing them. My bf just thinks I’m being stupid but after it being ai obvious in my bikini its really made me miserable. Thanks Jenny I’m eating loads at the moment and not exercising so I will deffo gain weight but so far its only showing on my stomach and by jeans r too tight it never goes where I want it to go xxxxx

I wear a really full cupped bra during the day with a lot of support underneath to lift them up which makes the rippling disappear. When I go out I wear a strapless wonderbra ( the one with the pretend hands in) and that makes the rippling disappear too and I can show a bit of cleavage wearing that.

Mines stayed the same really and not gone any worse. I noticed it as soon as the swelling went down 🙁 . They do look better than what I had before but I wish I’d got a better result and I perhaps didn’t research rippling enough as I didn’t expect to get it along my implants as I just wanted a pair of boobs quick ! lol . X

I’m just stupid I looked into it all so much but just went for cuis cuz of cost now I’m probably going to have to pay for a reop can’t imagin living in full cup bras for the rest of my life I’m only 24 🙁 deffo gonna give them a go but I think mine might be too bad to go in a bra. Did mr mounir mention how much a reop would be? Reckon its more than the first surgery 🙁 unless mya give a discount or anything for rippling but I doubt they would especially when I was told I would ripple with cuis. Yours doesnt look bad at all on ur 3month pic Sharon or does it look worse in person? I can’t upload pics for some reason stupid phone ! xxxx

Yeah it does look worse in person than in the photo and looks bad in certain lights. I took that photo on my ipad and the picture’s a bit grainy. My arms were outstretched too , which lifts my boobs up a bit and thus reduces the rippling.

Aw I know what you mean, I’m 43 so couldn’t expect perfection at my age and after 3 kids so you must be gutted. We didn’t discuss a reop as I’m not desperate at the mo but if they get worse I’ll have to consider it. I do think a reop costs more as they have to remove the implant too. Hope you get sorted hun xx

Aww dannii89 it’s a shame you feel this way especially after your surgery, I would suggest you speak to your surgeon about it and see if he can suggest anything. Xx

I see him in novemeber so will ask him but I know he’s just gonna say there’s not much he can do 🙁 so annoying I got this done after having my son and having to spend loads of expensive padded bras n now I’m in exactly the same position just with bigger boobs to hide in a push up bra. i honestly don’t think I can last long with them like this but can’t afford a re op ! FML ! Xx

I had my op just over a week ago and I can feel rippling 🙁 so upset im booked in 2 see the nurse tomoz xx

I went to see Mr mounir tonight n he thinks its not that bad and to try and gain some weight he’s convinced it will work he mentioned fat transfer but wants me to try gain it myself to see if there’s any point doing it. He said to come back in a year n if I’m still not happy to consider fat transfer or re op. I feel better about my rippling now but dreding another holiday or having to wear a bikini Xx
